*Leslie's P.O.V.*
"What is he doing here?" both Mia and Spencer spat out simultaneously. Of course, they were referring to different people; Mia was glaring at Justin, when on the other hand Spencer was shooting daggers at Drake.
I looked at them with raised eyebrows, questioning their outburst. Even if Mia could have a reason to not want Justin here, I couldn't find one for Spencer's behaviour.
But then again, I don't even know the guy.
"These guys came to sit with us," I told them in a monotone voice. "And there's nothing, and I mean nothing you can do about it."
Walking towards an empty chair, I dragged both guys with me, making Justin sit next to Mia and Drake right beside me.
There was no other empty seat, don't judge me!
"Feisty, I like it," I heard Drake whisper. I raised my eyebrow and flipped my hair confidently. Like Raven; yup, that's me. He snickered.
From the corner of my eye, I could see Mia trying to avoid Justin. He was practically begging her, holding her hand in his own. Mia's attention, though, was on her glass of water. She didn't even make eye contact with neither Justin nor me.
"Does my dad even know you are fooling around when you should be working?" Spencer spoke up in a challenging tone.
Is that why he's acting like a jerk?
"My shift is over," Drake answered confidently. Then, he turned to me and gave me a small smile. Right before he could even start small talk, Spencer cut him off.
"Oh, right," he shrugged. "And how come you don't want to take another person's delivery today?" he smirked.
Whaaat? Call me an idiot but I am really confused right now.
"What?" I decided to ask, making myself take part in the conversation.
He mouthed something at Spencer, but I couldn't quite make out what.
"Ah, yesterday he stole my delivery as if he wanted to see his girlfriend or something," Spencer shook his head, smirking.
But yesterday I didn't see him...
He wasn't talking about me.
Does he go around flirting with all of his female customers?
Drake blushed, scratching the back of his head. Before anyone could say anything else the waiter came to take our orders. Turned out we all got small-sized pizzas for ourselves, apart from Justin and Mia, who surprisingly enough got a medium-sized one together.
Food does bring people together after all.
After the waiter left, so did I. Excusing myself, I grabbed Katerina's hand and took her with me to the restrooms.
"Let me guess... You are interested in Drake," she snickered, causing me to blush.
"That's not the point!" I rolled my eyes. "I just... You know... I just want you to learn about whom he was talking about," I smiled embarrassed.
It wasn't like me to act so jealous and sneaky. It's just that I haven't felt the least attention from guys in a while. Maybe it is that I don't surround myself with new people much, but again I don't really want to. I'm fine with my best friend.
"You won't find a boyfriend in the living room, hun," I heard my mum's voice in my head.
But then again she never said anything about the front door.
"You mean 'the girlfriend he wanted to see'?" Katerina woke me from my daydream.
"What-"
The door swung abruptly open, revealing my very best friend with a very large smile on her face.
"What are you two cheaters doing in here?" she asked, shoving Katerina out of her way and coming to stand next to me. "Cheating on me with my cousin? Tsk, tsk, dat's no nice, babe," she shook her finger in front of my face.
"Says the girl who's cheating on me with her ex," I smirked, challenging her.
I heard Katerina chuckle, making Mia spin around and glare at her playfully. When she turned back at me, her face had grown a hot pink colour.
"Not an ex anymore, I'm gonna guess then," I bend over backwards, laughing at her uncomfortable, frozen face.
"How- You know what? I'm not even gonna ask. You always know what will happen before it even does," she shook her head at me.
See? Just like Raven.
"Alright, how about we go back to our previous and more important conversation?" Katerina said impatiently.
I let out a huff, not knowing what to say. We explained everything to Mia, who was undoubtedly better than us at fishing information out of people and uncovering secrets. Sometimes she would even uncover non-existent secrets, like that of Justin cheating on her.
Anyways...
"I found it!" Mia shrieked.
"It's mine!" Katerina joked, earning an eye roll from both of us.
Mia continued stating her idea. "One of us will ask for his number, and then we'll go home and text him."
"Whaaat? And how will that help us find who the girl he wanted to meet was?" I asked confused.
I mean, we could totally do that, but how could we take the info we need from him?
Gosh, I sound like a detective trying to find a serial killer...
"Geez, let me finish first?" Mia rolled her eyes. "We'll text him 'hi', and of course, like any other human being, he'll ask who the person who texted him is. And then comes the good part. We will say that we are the girl who he wanted to meet the previous night. The one to whom he delivered the pizzas, or whatever the hell she ordered. And just like that he'll reveal her name," she smirked, feeling good about her clever idea.
"I mean... Wow," Katerina nodded. "It's the first time – and probably the last – that I say this, but you're really clever."
"Yeah, yeah, I know."
"But who will get his number?" I asked, feeling my stomach turn.
Although I liked the idea, I was really scared of the whole scenario.
"Knock knock," Mia smirked.
Oh no...
"Who's there?" I asked frightened.
"You."
"You who?"
"I'm glad you're excited, 'cause it's you who will get the guy's number, sweetheart," she winked at me and Katerina gave me two thumbs up.
Why me?
