Chapter 22

Masons POV

As i lay there with gracie standing next to me i ask the doctor if he can help me get up. He helps me stand up and i push him away telling him i can do the rest. I stand up and start walking. I remember thinking that i thought it would be way harder but all i had to do is stand up. I walk out of the hospital and ask gracie what day it was. She said that 2 weeks have gone by. I look at her in amazement and look at the parking lot looking for my car. I spot it in the back but i ask myself who brought it all the way over here? I don't ask any questions and start heading that way. I feel a tug on my arm and see its gracie. She tells me she doesn't have a ride - but stop her and say lets go. She looks at me surprised and i say "what?", at that moment my eyes and her eyes had an instant connection. We look into each others eyes for a couple of seconds before gracie look away and says, "we should be going now", i see her face turn red while she trying to hide it. I turn around and lead her to my car( by the way its a black Audi R8 with ten cylinders) as i open the door for her. She gets in and i jump into the drivers seat and sit there hesitant and not finding the courage to put the keys in. I look at my hands and see them shaking but i tell myself "comeon stop shaking not in front of gracie, your embarrassing me", at that moment i turn to see grabbing my hand and telling me that everything is going to be fine. I stop shaking and put the keys in. I pull out of the drive way and head to my house. As im driving i notice all the buildings and other thing and see that thing haven't changed. I pull into my drive way, get out of the car, and open the door for Gracie. I open my front door and see everything is neat and put away but i remember leaving it all messy. I see a piece of paper on the counter and read the name. Its from alexus. I don't read it and crush it up and throw it away. I see gracie sitting on my sofa. I walk into my room and see that its neat too. I look into my closet and see my cloths but see someone else's. I don't question it and grab some cloths and head into the shower. Coming out of the shower, I dry myself off and put on my cloths and head into my room organizing my dirty cloths. I walk into my living room and gracie starts to tell me that isaac is having a birthday party and its tomorrow. She tells me that isaac invited me. I ask her if she going and she noddes her head. I look at my phone and it says is 10 at night. I tell her if she would like to spend the night since its very late and i don't want to be a dick. She says sure and i tell her if she wants to sleep with me or on the sofa. She looks at me in shock and just as im about to say i didn't mean it like that she says with a nervous tone thst she doesn't care were she sleeps. I look at her and tell her well come on pointing to my bedroom. She follows me in and i ask her if i can take of my shirt because i sleep more comfortable that way. She tells me "whatever makes you comfortable". I take off my shirt and put on some shorts and turn around to see gracie already in bed. I tuck myself in and turn my body to the side and close my eyes. I feel someones arms around me and turn my head to see gracie's arms rapped around my chest. I look at her again and see her body as she is half naked. I start to move my eyes up and down her body and turn back around, falling asleep.
