[ Because of recent events, here's what's gonna happen:

As of 5/6/22, I've decided to re-write both of my books. This means that I'll completely disregard the previous backstory and plot relating to the reader and write a different one.
However, if I want to, I'll continue to write new chapters in the future. Yet, for now, I wanna focus on rewriting the stories. Sorry for any inconveniences ]

"Dad's the coolest!" Valt tells you while flipping through some memory photo book he had taken out to show you. "He's currently traveling the world for his job, but he comes back every year on my birthday." You look at a photo he's currently holding. It was a photo of their entire family on vacation to someplace you don't recognize. Valt appears younger in this picture, in swimwear and holding out a peace sign while their parents are holding each other close, the twins are also in some swimwear and Nika had a flamingo floatie around her waist.
"How many Earth years are you in this photo?" You asked, holding it as if it were some sort of fragile glass.
"Hm?" Valt quirked an eyebrow before getting what you mean. "Oh! You're asking how old I am here?" You flushed red at your inexperienced way to refer to things. "I think I was ten years old, while Tokonatsu and Nika are seven," he answers with a childish grin. "My parents, me, and my siblings all traveled to Spain for a week for my birthday. I remember this bigggg waterslide that I got to go down in!" He squeals in delight, "I wish I can go on it again!"
"Big Brother almost drowned there too," Nika comments with an evil giggle.
"Dad had to go save him because Bro wanted to go to the deep end to prove how strong of a swimmer he 'supposedly' is," Tokonatsu adds more salt to the wound. Both he and his sister burst out laughing straight after.
Valt flushes red, clearly embarrassed from his image being tainted in front of his own Bey. "All right! All right! I get it! I should've listened!" You heard the doorbell ring, you had caught Chiharu in the corner of your eye rushing down the hall to answer it.
"One sec, be there in a bit!" Chiharu yells as she skipped down the stairs.
Valt stares at her for a brief second before going back to the photobook. You turned around again and watched as he pointed at a picture of him and Shu in a park, it appears years old considering the worn-out edges. "Here," he begins, "Shu and I—"
"AAAHH!"
You and Valt flinched as well as the twins and rushed down to see the threat, with you being shoved in front. Most likely for you to actually handle the threat since you were stronger than everybody here.
"Mom, what happened?!" Valt shouts, hiding behind you and only able to see from out your shoulder.
Chiharu was paralyzed with fear, pointing forward at the door. "S-Something weird—outside!"
