Puppet shows are kinda odd!

Turns out the puppets are just cloth in the shape of creative creatures! You were a little disappointed there's no magic behind them, but as long as they made Valt happy—you didn't care all that much in the end.

Speaking of, Valt had finally gotten a confident boost watching the little play. It's a good thing, honestly, because you don't know how to encourage your owner to do better.

Human emotions are such fragile things, huh?

You never put too much thought into emotions, being a Bey n' all. Your daily life consisted of battling, sitting around in your own little world, and repeat. You quickly got bored of it, though. How the others manage to stay and remain in this repetitive daily life is beyond you, so you just stole half of Valt's soul to help yourself into their reality. It's not a bad thing, it's quick and painless, but it was overwhelming.

Valt's soul is warm, childish, but also friendly.

You got really lucky with your owner. . .

Anyway, besides that, you snapped back to reality and dried your hands with a nearby towel. You were put to clean the dishes after the dinner the Aoi family had (you volunteered because you hoped Chiharu wouldn't kick you out for being useless), and finished putting back the dried plates and bowls in their respective cabinets.

"All done?" Chiharu asked, looking at you fondly.

"Mhm!" You hummed while nodding, "Everything's put away and the kitchen's all cleaned!"

"But I didn't. . ." Chiharu trailed off, eyes going a little wide at the extra bit of information. Her eyes went soft again and shook her head, "Nevermind. Good job. Valt's upstairs in his room if you're gonna go to him," she paused before sighing, "and check if he's actually doing his homework like he said he would and not doing anything Beyblade-related."

You nodded again, "Okay! Leave it to me!" You rushed past the woman as she stared at your fleeting figure with crossed arms. Maybe she's been taking more of a liking to you now! (You hoped, at least).

The kitchen plus dining area was a separate place of the house, disconnected, and had a whole room for it. So, snooping around wouldn't be a problem right? (Chiharu wouldn't notice if you were to take a quick peek at their photos.) You stopped right before the staircase that leads up to Valt's room, fiddling with your clothing. Taking a hesitant step back and scanned the living room to contemplate what your next move is.
