"Dad! [First name] and I got into the Best Eight! Isn't that great?!" Valt exclaimed, looking at his dad from the screen. [Name] sat right next to him while staring at his father with wide eyes. She couldn't believe her eyes! Valt definitely got so many traits from his dad. It's kinda scary, honestly.
"Didn't you dream of becoming the Beyblader in the world?" Kento asked, furrowing his eyebrows with a tint of disappointment.
"Yeah, but..." Valt trails off in his words, averting his eyes to the left.
"It's too soon to be celebrating!"
"Everyone even went and cheered him on," Chiharu argued with a soft smile. "[First name]'s trying her very best as well, aiding Valt for victory. Isn't that right you two?"
"Yeah! Why aren't you praising Big Brother and Big Sister?" Nika questions, tilting her head only a bit.
"Valt, [First name], you two shouldn't Beyblade just to hear praise," Kento scolds. Boring his eyes in the bodies of the mentioned teens.
"Right!" The duo exclaims while nodding. Instantly picking up what he's putting down. "All right! We're gonna win, no matter what!"
"Good!" Kento finally grew a smile and inched closer to the screen. "Listen up. Don't ever give up, got it?"
"Got it!" The two nodded happily, showing off determined smiles.
"That's the way, Bro, Sis!" Tokonatsu cheers. All three of the kids apparently didn't notice the stares they earned from the two other females.
Kento was Valt's father who's off overseas for his job. He had called in for an update for the tournaments, he watched a few battles so he knew who [Name] was. After finding out that [Name] existed, he called his wife to ask who she was. Upon hearing her uniqueness, he didn't treat her as a daughter, but a trusted person who he can hand over Valt. (It kinda makes him happy to give Valt that Beyblade for his birthday.)

The day after, Valt and [Name] ran along the sidewalk, enjoying the fresh, cool air hitting their skin. The blunette had his arms stretched out, a large grin was stuck on his fair skin. [Name] almost missed Wakiya—who was running in the same sidewalk—if it hadn't for Valt slightly bumping him.
"Jet Shoot!" Valt yelled with glee.
"Wheee!" [Name] laughs, following Valt's posture.
"What're ya, doin', stupid Valt?! Idiot [First name]?!" Wakiya's ticked off voice shouted after the two. "That's goin' too far!"
And it suddenly became a race to get to the BeyClub. [Name] up in the front, Valt in second, and Wakiya was slowly inching to pass Valt. Running up the stairs to the roof, [Name] was able to get only the small glimpse of Rantaro and Daina working out. That is until the trio took a sharp turn and left as fast as they came.
