"Daina's quitting?" Valt asks, in disbelief. But then smiles, "You think I'd fall for that?"
You lifted an eyebrow at the male. "Valt!"
"Hey!" Rantaro says, but it didn't sound intimating.
"When you joke, it should be more interesting." Valt adds.
"Valt, this might not even be a joke." You scold, glaring lightly at him.
"Well, let's have morning practice. Let's start with whole-body warm-up." Valt says, a little too carelessly. He started to do some sort of squats, actually, you have no idea if they were squats. "One, two, three, four."
"It's true!" Rantaro shouts.
"When did he quit?" You asked.
"Earlier this morning. He's quitting the BeyClub, and he's not going to the Area Selection Tournament either." Rantaro informed.
You stomped your foot against the ground. "That darn idiot." You crossed your arms
"Seriously?" Valt asked, stopping his weird 'training'.
"It took me by surprise, too." Rantaro said, confirming Valt's thoughts.
"You should have said so earlier!" Valt shouts, you face palmed.
"What do you think I just did?" Rantaro scolds.
Valt takes your hand and drags you to somewhere, along the way he kept on repeating Daina's name.

Valt opens the door to Daina's classroom harshly. You, kept an eye out to the hallways, in hopes of catching Daina walking around. You soon catch a girl with purple hair, her bangs being held up with a red hair clip. She wore a childish outfit with a skirt. The boy had the same hair color, with an orange jacket and white shirt along with blue jeans..
"Daina said he wasn't feeling well. It looks like he left earlier." The girl says.
"That's strange." The boy adds, looking back at the girl.
"Thank you." You bow, the boy blushed at your cute antics as he girl just rolls her eyes at her friends' reaction.
You followed your owner and your best friend. You went up in front of them once seeing Shu. You grasp his arm. "Do you know where Daina is?!" You asked, your voice cracking up as your eyes were glossy. Shu's heart broke once seeing your tearful expression. Thankfully, he nodded. He pets your head, knowing that every time he did that it calmed you down.
"Come with me." Shu commands. "I have to tell you something."

All four of you were back at the rooftop, Shu explained that Daina had cheated in the last battle he had. Which was nothing new to you. You just desperately wanted to know where Daina was and give him a good scolding!
"I don't believe that." Valt says.
"How can you even say such a thing?" Rantaro asks.
Shu looks at Rantaro, "It's true." He then faces you. "You know yesterday? When we dropped off Daina?" Rantaro and Valt stare at you, you nod. "He told me that he was scared of you."
