The referee darts his arm over to Shu. "Storm Spriggan, Burst Finish. Two points! The score is two to zero!" The crowd went absolutely nuts over the satisfying win of Shu's. Finally, throughout the entire tournament, Shu was the very first person to snatching two points from the ruthless blader.
The way he did it as well was surprising and amazing. Shu calls it the 'Southern Cross Shoot'. Honestly, it was better than any name [Name] and Valt can come up with. She gets the small, nagging, feeling that this was the move he was practicing so much for. And to see it play out beautifully without any mistakes was amazing. Shu really does deserve his title of a Spin Emperor.
Actually, now that [Name] really thinks about it. That launch must've been so hard to perfect. Because Shu held his launcher upward so that the bottom part would face the sky. The moment he launches, he pulls his hands at the same time, that way, it gives the Bey immense power. But there's always a catch, and that is maintaining control of the Bey (or more like Spriggan trying to take control of his footing).
Lui's maniacal laughter breaks the happiness of celebrating as everyone remained silent. Violet eyes pierced right through the albino and a grin etched on Lui's face. "Congratulations on taking a point from Longinus." He says. "You're a little stronger than I thought you'd be when we faced each other." As if he used magic, his fire like hair licked the air. "Even when crushed, you rise from the ashes like a phoenix. As expected of Kurenai Shu!" The said boy gritted his teeth, biting back a remark.
Murmurs came from the crowd after Lui's statement. Mostly coming from [Name]'s friends, until Zac's voice over-talks them. "Nice, nice, nice!"
"Zac-senpai," Akira muttered with confusion.
"I can't battle them the way I am now. It's so sad," Zac sighed dramatically, placing his cheek against the palm of his gloved hand.
"Didn't you retire, though?" Akira asks. "Besides, [First name] has your Bey right now."
"Yes, and I intend her to keep it!" Zac declared, lifting his face from his hand to stare at Akira with a smile. "I'll be making a new and improved Zeus!"
"Wait, so does that mean—" Akira was cut off by Zac suddenly standing up with sparkles radiating off of him. Oh boy, here he goes.
"C'mon, everybody!" Zac exclaimed, causing all of the attention that once was on the competitors zoom over to the blonde. "Listen up!" He pointed at himself with a charming grin that would make any girl melt. "I, Zac the Sunshine, am here to declare my return as a Blader!" [Name] lifted an eyebrow as she felt Zeus twitch. Wasn't it like...five minutes ago that he declared he was retiring? "As long as the sun shines, my light won't go out!" He lifted a finger. "However, I will return with an entirely new Bey as a form of a new me!"
[Name] sighed with a grin. She isn't mad that Zac is deciding to replace Zeus. After all, if a Beyblade is made out of the same material as the old one, the Bey's soul will return to its owner safely. And she'll be left with an empty, soulless Bey in her hands. Yes, the thought saddens her a bit, but it's a small reminder of Zac for in the future.
