"If you wanna beat Zac's Rolling Shot, you need to use the Runaway Shoot," Rantaro instructed, his jacket fluttering from the soft breeze that coursed through. Soft thumping came from Rantaro hitting the palm of his hand with his personal large fan.
[Name] grew confused at the choice of the name. She placed a finger on her cheek and tilted her head. "Runaway Shoot? What's that?" Rantaro huffs and pointed the fan at the stadium.
"That launch you two used against Xhaka, where you went 'bam, bam, bam'!" Rantaro sulked and looks at Valt with desperation. "Please tell me you know what I'm talking about."
"Hehe..." Valt nervously looked away as Tokonatsu shoves his tablet to [Name] and Valt. The video played out the launch smoothly. It only took [Name] a second to realize at what Rantaro was hinting at.
"Oh! That launch!" [Name] exclaimed while pointing at the screen. Rantaro sighed and shook his head, for sure, he thought that the [h/c]ette would remember. Guess she needed a little push, but still!
"Guess they were that focused, huh?" Daina teased, causing [Name] to playfully punch his shoulder. Valt grabbed [Name]'s other hand and stare at her with excited eyes.
"We did something that cool?" He exclaimed as [Name] nodded with a small grin.
To try and recreate the Runaway Shoot, Rantaro made Valt and [Name] to stand far away from the stadium. The first attempt was horrible since Valt messed up his footing and fell right in the stadium. The second was okay, but Valt stopped way too far back from the line their friends had marked.
"Okay, Valt!" Rantaro huffed. "Time to train for that Runaway Shoot!" Valt nodded and walked back to where he started, [Name] sat back and patiently waited for them to actually succeed in their launch. Rantaro trudged on forward and tapped the ground with the tip of the fan. "You gotta stop here, okay? Let [First name] take care of the rest afterward." He pointed the fan at Valt with one swift movement. "All you have to do is finish your Runaway Shoot."
Valt nodded as he tried again, messed up his footing and fell right on top of Wakiya. The fourth attempt had [Name] literally flying away because Valt had thrown the launcher aside. The final one (before they took a break) was the worst since [Name] fell on her side first as she returned to her human form.
"Hey!"
"Wuahh! [First name], I'm sorry!"
"Yeah! You should be!"
It was the start of the evening. The sun was softly setting on the horizon as the sunlight went with it. The temperature seemed to have dropped only a bit as Tokonatsu and Nika were seen shivering. Valt lays on the ground, panting heavily with [Name] by his side.
