A head peaked out from behind a corner, brown eyes observed the surroundings carefully of any suspicious people. Another head pops out, their own eyes scanned around as well.
"Okay, all clear," Valt stated and walked on forward. Putting one foot in front of the other, Valt sneakily walks up the stairs with Rantaro right behind him. Peaking his head around the corner again, Valt grew satisfied with the clear opening. Shu waltzed right on by without a care in the world. Seemingly ignoring the small bluenette. "Ah, Shu!" [Name] trailed on by with a teasing smile. "Not you too, [First name]!"
They, Valt and Rantaro, came out from behind the corner with displeased looks. "I told you both, your bodyguards have to go first."
"I didn't ask you to be my bodyguards," Shu stated, twisting his head over his shoulder.
"I think I can perfectly handle myself, thank you," [Name] says while placing her hands on her hips.
"B-But..." Valt stuttered as he looks at his partner and Shu. "What'll I do if something happens to the both of you?"
"Nothing will," Shu reassured.
"What he said," [Name] quickly added.
"This isn't a joke!" Valt protested and helplessly stares at both teens. "We don't know where Jin's planning to get to you!" Ah, yes. Supposedly, Jin is out to get both Shu and [Name]. Shu, because he's going up against Jin-[Name], because she's probably really valuable from her supernatural abilities.
Rantaro crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "It's like Valt said. I won't relax until I've done my best to fulfill my duty." He gripped his fists and posed. "That's the one and only rule for bodyguards!"
"Wow! Kumicho, you're so cool!" Valt compliments while gasping.
Rantaro lets out a small chuckle, "Well, that's what my old man told me."
"How annoying," an annoyed sigh escaped the albino's lips as he continued to walk up the stairs. [Name] removed her hands from her hips and crosses them.
"Seriously, what's gotten into you two?" She asked worriedly.
"W-Well, someone told us that you and Shu are going to get hurt by that weirdo!" Valt explained, referring to Jin. "So, we're taking action to protect you both!" [Name] sighed, placing a hand on her forehead. Even she could realize how idiotic they were for believing that a thirteen-year-old would do anything to another.
Upon reaching the rooftop, Shu had already been practicing launching. [Name] was being held against her will, and is standing right next to Shu. Only standing a few inches away so that he won't hit her when launching. She could only watch as Valt and Rantaro, guarded the two. Daina was the only one not doing anything and is just watching over both teens.
