Peridot blinked awake, a harsh light wavered inconveniently over her face from a crack in the curtains. She sat up with a sour look on her face and grimaced as she found that she had a pounding headache and a raging thirst in her throat.

Peridot squinted at the clock, while trying to locate her glasses, once she put them on she saw it was one o'clock in the afternoon. Peridot groaned and mumbled to herself.

'Jeesus, wonder how much i had last night...' Peridot went to put her feet on the floor before she realized there were a pair of arms around her waist, they were stopping her from getting  out of bed. It took Peridot a moment to process this and turn around to find that Lapis was keeping her from getting up. Peridot's face went ten shades darker, as she was quite a pale person. She put her hand over her mouth and let out a muffled squeak. Peridot forced herself to calm down so she wouldn't wake Lapis up. Peridot attempted to pry the girl's arms off her waist but Lapis just latched on harder and mumbled something she couldn't make out. Peridot sighed, it was inevitable, she would have to wake Lapis up and face the embarrassment. Peridot cringed as she shook Lapis slightly, who then grumbled and sat up, rubbing her eyes and then squinting at Peridot.

'What are you doing in my bed?' Lapis didn't seem angry or surprised, just confused.

'This is... my bed.' sure enough, they were on Peridot's side of the room. Lapis shrugged and pulled Peridot into a hug with a sigh.

'Whatever dork, you're warm and i'm not moving.' Peridot groaned.

'Lapis please i have a headache.' Lapis put her chin on top of Peridot's head.

'Not my problem dude.' Peridot tries to stand up but Lapis is undeterred, she wraps her legs around the smaller girl's waist and doesn't let go, it's humiliating for Peridot.

'Can i at least get something to eat?' Lapis shook her head.

'I'll come back to bed after...'

Lapis narrowed her eyes at Peridot, causing her to get nervous.

'Pinky promise?' Peridot frowned.

'Are you three?' Lapis shot Peridot a glare, she was actually serious. Peridot gulped and wrapped her little finger around Lapis' to seal the deal. Lapis untangled herself from Peridot and let her get up before returning to underneath the warm covers. Peridot got up, shivering in discomfort at the cold floor on her feet, she proceeded to make herself a sandwich.

'That wasn't very mature Lapis...' Lapis made a muffled raspberry noise underneath the blanket, causing Peridot to roll her eyes. Peridot decided she would make tea just to make Lapis wait longer.

'Lapis, do you want any tea?'

'Two sugars, loads of milk.' Lapis replied, dragging out the 'o' in loads.

Peridot took her time with everything, earning a few frustrated noises from Lapis. Peridot took the two mugs of tea and her sandwich over to the bed. Setting everything on the bedside table, Peridot nudged Lapis, who threw the sheets back from over her head and sat up, taking her mug, not even offering thanks. The tea soothed Peridot's throat, and she devoured the sandwich, having skipped breakfast by sleeping in so late. despite having more to finish Peridot was done before Lapis, who was sipping her tea slowly. Peridot frowned.

'How are you not dying from last night, you must have had way more alcohol than me.' Lapis gave a shrug.

'I dunno, you're probably a lightweight, i had to have three beers before i even got slightly tipsy.' Peridot slumped her shoulders and sighed.
