So Little Time, But Far Too Much

My mother

She's been a nurse for three years

And one day

She came home in tears

We asked her why

Calmed her down

She said her favourite patient

Went

To the sky

We have so little time in our short

Short lives

But somehow

I think it's too much

Maybe it's that fact that I can't hold my ground

I'm always pushed around and talked about

In this life we have so little time

But somehow

I think it's more then enough

I don't

Want to go

I kinda like

All the snow

I need school

To keep me sane

I need school

To keep me on my game

But she pulled the same crap

She does all the time

Saying some mantra about how we have

"So little time"

We have so little time in our short

Short lives

But somehow

I think it's too much

Maybe it's that fact that I can't hold my ground

I'm always pushed around and talked about

In this life we have so little time

But somehow

I think it's more then enough

We have time to watch the sunset

And we have time to watch the sea

But somehow with all your spare time

You never make some for me

We have time to play in the fields

And time to make movies look so real

I'm waiting for my dying breath

It's just a day away

Don't you agree when I say

We have so little time in our short

Short lives

But somehow

I think it's too much

Maybe it's that fact that I can't hold my ground

I'm always pushed around and talked about

In this life we have so little time

But somehow

I think it's more then enough

We have so little time in our short

Short lives

But somehow

I think it's too much

Maybe it's that fact that I can't hold my ground

I'm always pushed around and talked about

In this life we have so little time

But somehow

I think it's more then enough

Maybe I'm just bitter

Or growing old too fast

But I'm excited I must say

For my time to pass
