Enough

My arm feels on fire

My books are on the floor

My ear phones are dangling

My heart is throbbing

My ears betray the laughs

I slump down the wall

But I push myself up

Because I won't stay down

Until I've had too much

I continue my stroll down the hall

I can feel people staring

But soon enough it'll be sirens I'm hearing

I'm out of my luck

I'm stuck in a rut

I've been led to cut

Things is, the blood is addicting

The color is amazing

And the feeling is intoxicating

People say if they went through what I have they'd already have enough

But I just stand back up

Because I won't stay down

Until I have too much

I slump down the wall

But I push myself up

Because I won't stay down

Until I've had too much

I continue my stroll down the hall

I can feel people staring

But soon enough it'll be sirens I'm hearing

You say sorry when it's too late

You feel bad when you can't stop

So when I'm gone and you're suddenly filled with dread

Instead of being mean

Say some nice things instead

Change a person's day

For me it was for worse

But just for once

Make it for good

Because I'm sure we've all had enough

I slump down the wall

But I push myself up

Because I won't stay down

Until I've had too much

I continue my stroll down the hall

I can feel people staring

But soon enough it'll be sirens I'm hearing
