*Third Person P.O.V*
Loki had brought the love of his life, Darcy Lewis, back to Asgard with him. He loved her so much, it made the other gods and goddesses wonder what this human did to their God of Mischief...
...As quickly as their suspisions grew, Darcy became pregnant. Loki was so happy and wanted to see his child. The gods and goddesses became distressed, wanting to get rid of his lover. They feared that this mortal had powers to control anyone. They wanted to kill her before she could take over Asgard. And Darcy knew of this...
...But there was one Asgardian who liked Darcy. Freyja, the goddess of love and fertility...as well as death and war. Because of this, the gods and goddesses wanted Freyja to kill her during childbirth, so that Loki wouldn't suspect. Kill Darcy and the child, and everything will be back to normal. Yet Freyja was so moved by Loki's love, that she couldn't bring herself to do it...
...Thor knew of this, and demanded that she swear to kill Darcy. She told her servant of her sworn promise, and her sorrows for Loki...
"But Thor said to kill Darcy, not the child" The servant pointed out "Kill Darcy, that you must do, but spare the child"
"Yes!" she smiled standing up, tears wiped away by happiness "I shall do that"...
...When the child was ready, she had the child and looked at Darcy. Handing the newborn to her servant, she touched Darcy's head, whispering her magic words, killing the human. Freyja rushed over to the newborn shushing it. The baby cooed and the servant said "Do you think Loki would've wanted a girl?"
There was knocking on the door and Loki shouted "What is going on?"
Freyja quickly turned to the servant "Quick! Take her to the Bifrost bridge! Tell Heimendall to send her to Earth, Darcy has a friend down there!"
"What shall the child be named?!" The servant whispered as Loki pounded on the door once more "Eira"(pronounced: E-eye-Ra)
"But what if Loki tries to find her?"
"Then change her eyes to dark brown!" Freyja hissed. The servant whispered "As you wsh", then teleported to the Bifrost bridge, telling Heimdall where to send the child, and he did as the servant said...Back in the kingdom, Freyja opened the door for Loki, a sad look
"What happened Freyja?"
Freyja shook her head no "Darcy died"
"W-What about the child?" he asked, a glimmer of hope still left. Freyja shook her head again "She had a child, a baby girl, but the girl died before it was even born" He blinked back sorrow, as she added "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry"
His feet gave from under him, and he whispered "A-A girl you said?" Freyja nodded her head, praying in the back of her mind that Eira was safe on Earth...
...
...Jane heard a knock on her door and looked at the clock "2:30" she moaned rubbing her eyes, and stumbled out of her room towards the door "What is it?" she looked out the window and saw a bundle.
"What the hell?" Jane muttereed opening the door and seeing the sleeping baby. There was an envelope. She grabbed the baby, taking it inside, and opening the envelope. It was written in rune, and Jane moaned rubbing her eyes. She turned on some lights grabbing a book in runes to english translations. She flipped through the book and translated the letter
'Take care of Eira, she is terribly important'
She rubber her eyes, grabbing the car keys, she drove to the closest town, which was Phoenix. She dropped off the child at the orphanage, ringing the bell and driving off back home. Turned off the lights and went to bed without a thought...
...
...Up above in a different sky, the Greek gods watched as this young Norse demi-god was abandoned...and smiled
"It is unusual for the Norse to abandoned their own" Athena worried "Is the child weak?"
"Does not look like it" Demeter said "How could they abandon this helpless child?"
"I say we take it, and when the time is right, use the child as a barganing chip" Ares smiled "We could use the child to get more land, more followers, more control of the world"
Demeter gasped in shock wide eyed and snapped "How dare you think like that Ares!"
"No, it could work" Aphrodite said walking out of the crowd "Ares and I could take the child and raise it as our own. And if we never need her as a pawn peice, she could be Ares and mine's heir. You all know how much we need one" She sighed turning to look at her 12 year old son that had horn stubs, knawing at the plush horns of the stuffed animal moose
"Mm, yes the new God of the Moose, Juno" Artemis mused picking him up and stroking his blonde hair "He's not that bad Aphrodite"
"Need someone to fall on when the Moose thing doesn't win him forever fame" Ares shrugged
Zeus face-palmed and Hera whispered in his ear "He is right you know"
He sighed then said "Alright. You and Aphrodite can take care of the child, but only on one condition"
"Anything my lord" Ares smiled
"You must live down on Earth" Aphrodite gasped and muttered "On Earth? With the mortals?"
"The child must never know of her abilities"
"Of course, we'll accept" Ares replied "Come my love" The walked down the steps of Mount Olympus down to Phoenix where the child was, moved to New York City where they build a mansion and lived
