When Freyja left I walked over to the Museum of Natural History, which was actually close to my house. Buying my ticket (Freyja gave me some money before she left) I went up to the giant map thingy and was looking around. Suddenly a tall man with a baby face, bright red curly hair and shining hazel eyes smiled and said "Hey, can I help you with anything?" I didn't see him coming, so obviously I jumped. How did I not see him? Even in the giant crowd he stood out from the field trips, the elderly and the young families
"Do you have anything on the Norse? I'm doing a project on them" Lie
"Oh sure no problem" He smiled "Just follow me" I chuckled to myself. Mortals are so gullible...I'm starting to sound like a Goddess! He led me up this giant marble staircase and to the right
"Alright, the Huns are here so the Viking shall be at the end off the hall"
"Thanks"
"No problem" He smiled then walked away. Walking down the hall I looked at the time periods that passed by me in seconds. The hallway ended with a wall and a small window with iron bars cris-crossing on the outside, looking over Central Park, and if you looked far enough, my house.
I walked down the hallway, watching thousands and thousands of years pass by me within mere seconds. Finally I came to the end and found that the Norse exibit only showed a small cut into the wall and only 1ft by 1ft plaque telling about their way of life. I sighed
"This is not what I expected" I huffed rubbing the bridge of my nose
"You need more information?" A voice asked. i jumped, held my book closer to my chest, turning and saw it was the man from earlier. He laughed and said "If you need more I can show you the archives"
I gave him a suspicious look and he said "There's more artifacts in there" I followed him towards the elevator and he pressed 3, 2, 1, then 1, 2, 3
I laughed nervously, clutching the book closer to me as a button with a lightning bolt showed up "Is this some kind of joke?"
"No joke" He murmured and the door opened. I ran out, but skidded to a stop when I saw where we were. A giant castle on the clouds
"Good work Hermes" A deep voice said, making me turn "Who are you?" I demanded, trying to sound brave. Looking at the new one I saw he was tall, muscular, wore a quiver of arrows on his back and a white skirt
"I am Apollo, and you are coming with me" He smirked grabbing my arm tightly, making me drop my book
"Like hell" I snapped trying wrench free. His face became grim as he dragged me towards the palace. I tried freezing him, but it didn't work, so I had to resort to kicking and punching
"What are you doing?" He laughed "Your attempts of escape are pathetic"
"Bastard" I hissed
"What did you say mortal?!" he shouted
"I am not a mortal!" I shouted back
"Apollo!" A wise voice barked "I want her alive" We both turned and saw a wise middle aged man wearing a golden toga "I am Zeus. Welcome to Mount Olympus"
"I figured" I mumbled looking around
"come, let me show you around" He smiled holding out a hand. I walked up the marble steps, my eyes darting around like hawks
"You are safe" He whispered in my ear, and I snapped my head away. His hand fell, his smile faltered and showed me around. I kept my guard up the entire time and we finally had gotten to this courtyard, where a young woman with light brown hair was feeding a fawn and doe
"You can stay and live as a Greek" Her back stiffened, then relaxed. She was listening in. "You will be safe from those barbarians, the Norse"
I looked down. If I leave, I could be killed...and find my father. If I stay, I'll live and deal with the pain of being a black sheep...or, I could find out there powers
"I accept"
Zeus smiled "Excellent" He then turned to the girl "Artemis, show our newest family member to the room next to yours"
"W-Wouldn't Aphrodite be upset?"
"No, she rarely come here anymore. Too interested in diamonds" Artemis nodded her head and I realized that she was only wearing a cotton tunic and a leaf crown, no shoes or shiny things
As we walked she asked "How long will you stay?"
"Did you read my mind?"
"A bit" she smirked "Don't worry, I feel the same about Aphrodite"
"would you tell anyone?"
"I would gain nothing if I did. Just promise me you won't find out my weakness"
"Promise"
"Sell" She sighed "Here's your room" It had a deep green curtain which led into a white room with a few thin golden leaves on the walls
"If you want to blend in more, you should change into this" She pointed towards the beige gladiator shoes, the white tunic with a golden sash "and this" Artemis handed me a crown with golden leaves
"Is it really necessary?" I asked looking at the crown
"Greeks like their shiny things" She laughed nervously setting it on top of the dress "I just have one question"
"And what's that?" I asked looking into the giant mirror
"You find out that your father is a Norse god, and you instantly accept it. Didn't you, want to stay by Ares and Aphrodite?"
I turned towards her "They aren't my parents. Why should I care for them?"
"Yes but you must certainly feel someth-"
"It's not like she saved me from a runaway train or something!" I snapped throwing my hands in the air. Taking a deep breath I murmured "I'm sorry"
"It's nothing" she sighed "I know how you feel. My father always succumbs to his...habits"
I nodded my head knowing what she was talking about "Well, I must leave you to change. Father will be having a banquet at sundown for your arrival" I grabbed the things, quickly peeling out of them and changing into the new ones. All that was left was the crown. I grabbed it and tried to set it on, my hands shaking
I huffed "c'mon Eira...Sapphire...whatever! It's just a stupid crown" I shoved it on, and sighed. I felt like I had betrayed Loki...wait, should I feel that to my father?
Staring into the mirror, my eyes widened and tears stung my eyes. Green eyes. Black hair. Fair skin. Frost Giant Powers. Loki is my father. I fell onto my bed, the tears falling while I wondered why I didn't notice it before, why he lied to me, and what was going to happen now?

Loki's P.O.V
I looked all over New York City. Where was Eira? I left a note in her room saying to meet me at the park to train at Mortal's midnight. Now it's Mortal's morning and she still wasn't at the mansion.
Suddenly there was a pounding on my door "Open up brother" I sighed making the screen could disappear. I made the doors open on themselves and asked 'what do you want brother?"
thor walked in and said "My forgiveness"
I looked at him stunned and chuckled "you wanted my wife dead, you tried to kill Eira, and you want forgiveness?"
"I have realized that Darcy was just a mortal" I flinched at her name "I realize that Eria is not here to destroy Asgard. I want to help you brother"
I pondered the thought for a moment. I could get thor in trouble with the Greeks, and then he'll be out of the line for the throne "I fear that they have killed her"
"Who, who brother?" Thor demanded
"The Greeks. Ares and Aphrodite"
"i shall get revenge brother" and with that he stormed off, and I smiled to myself. Ignorance is bliss
