(Eira/Sapphire's P.O.V)
I sighed and walked back to where the Dining Hall was. There were so many Gods and Goddesses that it made me sort of nervous, hoping that none of them could read my mind. Taking a deep breath Zeus stood up, his arms outstretched "Ah, Sapphire" Everyone turned to me and Zeus then said in a booming voice "Brothers and sister, welcome our newest member of Mount Olympus, Sapphire" Everyone clapped and smiled. I nodded my head and sat by Artemis
"Tell us about yourself" Demeter smiled
"Uh, I'm 14" I replied, really not knowing what to say "I can sorta control ice"
"Sorta?" Hera asked raising an eyebrow, her lips creating a small and pinched line
I bit my lip "I'm learning how to use my powers" She nodded her head and then the feast began. There was so much food that people were making themselves throw up so they could eat more, or they passed out from too much wine *cough*Dionysus*cough* I felt like Jane Goodall studying apes! The Greeks were so...different. The way they acted, their version of fun, what they thought of humans and so much more!
Quickly slipping away I came to the garden, looking at the beautiful roses fold in for the night. A squirrel ran up the tree, making these bright yellow eyes open and the sound "WHO!" to interrupt the calming, yet disturbing, silence, Looking up into the inky black sky I watched a silver chariot race across the sky, distributing stars of all kind into the sky and I instantly saw a outline of Hercules. Suddenly the stars started moving, and I watched as Hercules flexed his muscles, smirking at himself. The silver ship Argo sailed past and I could just barely hear the waves crashing. Watching a Centaur chase after a deer, it set the arrow in place to shoot the creature.
I sighed as I heard the arrow fire and turned away ready to go back to my room, but suddenly I heard a "CAW!" Turning quickly I saw a crow slowly landing onto a branch "CAW!" And another one landed right next to it
I chuckled shaking my head. The two crows were helpers of Odin, Huginn and Muninn
"Thought and Memory" I whispered. First Huginn cawed, then Muninn took his turn. I looked around, and thought I saw an elderly man with a long white beard. Walking to where I saw the figure, the I saw it. It was a transparent man, crouched over a twisting wood cane and wore a long dark brown robe, but his face was covered by the hood he wore. The one feature on his face I could see was his long white beard.
"Who are you?" I whispered, so as to not alert the Greeks. As far as I knew, this strange man could be my ticket out of here! I touched the walls and found an outline of a door. Pushing as hard as I could, I heard the sound of moving rock and it finally gave in. I sat down and crawled into the small and narrow pass. My head scraped against the top, and I could feel my lungs being squished in and I felt the effects of claustrophobia. Just as I thought of turning back around, I could see a tiny bit of light. It brought my spirits up and I crawled faster and came to a small door so I pushed as hard as I could without pushing myself back. It gave way and it opened to a giant room, in the middle was a tiny floating ball of white energy. Standing up I looked around, finding incense and statues. On the wall to my left I found a giant map of the world. I stepped closer to the map and lightly set my finger on Manhattan. Suddenly the ball of light erupted into a cloud, and there was a whole view of the island. I gasped in wonder and thought 'This might be how they could see everyday life' I walked back over to the map and touched Las Vegas, and I saw people cheer for their win, cry for their loss. I took in a deep breath and looked at the map. No where did it show that I could see Asgard, or the other part of Olympus, or any gods whatsoever.
Suddenly I heard voices and quickly swished at the could and it returned to it's original state. I ran back over to my tiny hall, setting the door back in place and crawled as fast as I could to the garden. When I reached the end I set the rock in place and ran back to my room. Once I sat down, Demeter came in and breathed a sigh of relief "Oh good, your in your room"
"Where else would I be?" I inquired handing out a innocent look
"Zeus believes someone was in a private room of his" She laughed to herself "A paranoid one he is. But I guess you have to if your the Leader of the Gods" She smiled "Good night Sapphire"
"Good night Demeter" I smiled back and she walked out. Right when she did, my smile fell and thought 'Now I have to be extra sly' Standing up I caught my reflection in the mirror. I stared at myself and threw off the stupid crown, and headed towards the thin window that looked out to the bottom of the mountain and beyond. I could only stick out my hands, so I set them both out and looked up at the animated stars "Why did you lie to me Loki" I hissed, tapping my nails against the granite walls. After five minutes of waiting for a signal, a sign, anything at all...nothing appeared and I mumbled under my breath "You couldn't resist, could you?" There was another silence and my head lowered, pulling my arms back in and making my way to the bed. Flopping down I sighed and swallowed a lump in my throat, slowly closing my eyes. I instantly went to a dream. I was standing on a road in a small down. The heat was unbearable as I saw Loki on his knees, his head hanging low. In front of him was Thor and I watched as he said in a gruff and harsh voice "You will pay for your actons against the Humans, and for betraying the citizens of Asgard"
"No!" I shouted, trying to run to them. The more I tried, the slower I got. Thor grabbed Loki's arm, yanking him up and pulling him towards a tornado that was in the distance
"No!" I shouted louder "Come back!" They disappeared and my legs instantly turned into twigs, breaking under the weight and I fell to my knees "Come back" I whispered, and everything turned to darkness
