It was the next day and for the entirety of it, Alice was lost in her own world. The poor girl was distracted by everything that had took place last night, worrying about the fact that her father might send a letter or worse, a howler for her about the news. Her hands holding on to one another as they shake in fear. One of her acquaintances noticed her, as he stopped eating and faced the brunette.

"Not hungry, Diggory?" Gregory Goyle asked the brunette.

"I'm fine," Alice answered.

"You sure?" Vincent Crabbe asked, raising an eyebrow, as if he could completely and positively not believe how someone wouldn't  want to eat.

"I'm very sure."

"But youㅡ" Daphne cut in.

"It's okay, Daphne. Don't worry about me. Just eat up," Alice replied with a small smile drawn on her lips. She turned her gaze at the Hufflepuff's table which was the next one over from the Slytherin's.

'I think the Sorting Hat was wrong to put me here. I'm not a Slytherin. I'm not even that ambitious or that cunning. I'm more a Hufflepuff,' She thought to herself. 'I'm happy ending up with the same house as Daphne and Pansy, yet I never wanted to end up in the same house as Malfoy.'

Alice sighed and still staring at their table.

If Dad was there when I had been placed into Slytherin, I would've rather died than face him.

It was then her mood changed immediately, for she saw the familiar blonde walk into the Great Hall, coming up to her, "I knew it. You really love me enough to convince the Sorting Hat to join me in this house. But I don't ㅡ "

"Go to hell, Malfoy." She spat harshly, to which in turn led to a very pissed scowl forming on his lips. With a huff, he took a bite into his green apple.

It was obvious from her vulgar words that she was in a sour mood. She hated being there, especially if she was with the same boy who tested her patience for the time-being she was with him. Only three times they've encountered each other and she started hating his guts.

"Mail!" someone from the Ravenclaw table shouted, uprising the attention of everyone in the Great Hall.

Alice's eyes widened. "Murder me, Malfoy," she pleaded.
