Unaware of the two blondes conversation, it has been three days since she spoke with Draco. Not that the young male was not anywhere to be seen however, it was hard to keep track of him. Perhaps this was what he said that he was going somewhere. Funny how close their feelings were to each other, yet the heavens was testing them.

"Alice, a moment?"

With those words, Alice faced her friend Pansy, making her smile slightly.

"Uh, sure."

Unsure of what her friend's actions, Pansy immediately drag Alice through the silent corridors of Hogwarts. Luckily for the two girls, it was afternoon and not much students strut around the castle by that time especially now that Winter was again, approaching.

"Pansy, where are we going?"

The black haired stopped, holding Alice's hands. "Tell me the whole truth and I want to know it all." she pleaded.

Alice gulped hard of Pansy's request. Was she pertaining to Draco's heart?

"W-what d-do you mean b-by the whole truth?" she blabbed.

Pansy rolled her eyes. "You know what I mean and I know that it doesn't take a genius to see that something is up with Draco and Daphne these days right?"

'So Pansy doesn't know about Draco's feelings for me.' Alice told herself, feeling slightly relieved.

"Well I-I think there is something but I know nothing about it. What is your suspicion?" Alice replied, carefully choosing the words she needed and should only say.

Alice didn't want to hurt Pansy's feelings, she knew how lovesick she was for the same man she adores.

"Not really a lead but,"

Taking a good glance on her sides, Pansy continue speaking however this time, not too loud; enough to be heard by Alice and no one else.

"Draco keeps missing his Prefect rounds and I'm starting to get worried about it."

"Is that it? Then how about Daphne?"

"I caught her not just thrice out of the dormitories at a very late night. Within this term, I've caught her more than twenty-times."

"Well what if she's only hanging out in the Common Room?"

"She isn't! I caught her out of the common room as well! Sometimes, by the hallways, far off from the dungeons."

"And your theory?"

"What if they were dating?! Like the Greengrass family would say it's Astoria but then it's actually Daphne! Tell me I'm overreacting but I'm just being realistic!"

'She has a point however, Draco told me, I was the one he loves.'

"Well what if the Death Eater thing – "

Pansy raised an eyebrow at Alice, making her stop on her words. "Really?"

"You do know that they are pureblood and – "

"And now you are accusing purebloods, like me – as those Death Eaters?" Pansy tsked. "What a nice description, honey."

"Pansy, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, it's just a theory."
