It was the night of all students' dream inside the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The promising night that they were all waiting for. Colorful dress and suits were all over the place. Snow was thick on Scotland this year, as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was ready for the night of all nights; the Yule Ball.

Everyone was excited by this idea, except for one particular group of people: or perhaps except for some of them in that group.

"Have you seen Alice around?" Blaise questions his blonde friend.

"They'll be here in a minute. Pansy is not even here neither Daphne." Draco answered.

But then they were all interrupted when they heard him gasp. "Holy cow. Is that Alice?" Vincent Crabbe asked.

"She looks beautiful." Gregory said and the other two boys turned to her direction.

"Oh Goyle, stop saying that."

"I don't see the reason that you hate dresses. They look good on you." Blaise said.

Alice smiled. "Thanks." She said.

Her brown hair with big curls were perfectly styled without even trying. Her brown eyes sparkled like a pair of the most expensive Sapphires and her red dress made all the heads on this room turn to her.

Draco heard a weird pounding. At first he thought there were drums all over him. But when he listened even more acknowledgingly, he heard it loud and clear.

It was his heart.

"Dray!" Draco heard Pansy. He turned around and she too was beautiful but unlike Alice, she didn't made his heart pound. "Do I look beautiful?" Pansy asked.

Draco gave her a plain smile. "Yes. You look good on that pink dress."

She blushed. "You look good on that suit too."

The blonde boy smiled. "Thank you, Parkinson."

"Ladies and gentlemen, here I am!" Daphne came in and she was wearing a purple dress. Then she turned to Alice and her eyes widened in wonder. "Merlin! We have the face of the night!" She teased as Alice laughed.

"I'm not."

"Stop being humble." Pansy said and the girls laughed.

"Wait didn't you guys dressed up together?" Blaise asked.

"Well, my sister-in-law, Cho had some other plans." She simply joked making her friends snicker.

Blaise smiles. "I see."

"All students are expected to go inside the Great Hall please. Thank you!"

After hearing those words, Alice began to search for her partner for the Yule Ball. Luckily, he wasn't that hard to find since he was already there; waiting for his Slytherin partner for the night.
