No matter where I go, I know where I came from!" I heard someone sing really off tune while I am trying to sleep.

           I opened my eyes and opened my curtains from my bunk bed really wide enough to get up and slam my pillow in Darcy's face so she can shut up before heading back to sleep and that's basically how my day started.

"What you eating?" Darcy said sitting down on the chair right next to me.

           The bus driver made a pit stop at one of the diners near the highways so he can refill on gas and so we can refill our stomachs. After that whole innocent in the morning I couldn't go back to sleep and ended up playing this song game where you have to guess the song with Darcy that I always win because, you know, I am just talented like that. Just kidding! Truth is we were almost tied. She is just so lucky at things like that.

"I am eating something you can't have." I said sticking my tongue at her.

She pouted. "Fine." She looked away locking her eyes at something across the room.

I didn't even have to look to see who she was looking at. "My brother is happy." I said sticking my fork in my waffles and popping it into my mouth.

I heard her sigh and shift in her seat. "I know, but am I wrong to have that gut feeling?" She asked.

I looked at her to question what she was talking about, but then Kane joined in. "Hey mates! Yum I see you ordered waffles! They are my favorite!" I watched as he grabbed a fork and took a piece of my waffle and popping it into his mouth.

"Aww come on Em! I though you said that you weren't sharing!" Darcy wined.

I laughed taking a sip of my orange juice. "I love to hear laughter in the mornin'." I heard someone say.

           I placed my cup down to come face to face with Kevin. It was officially three days after our first kiss and I still felt his lips on mine. Tomorrow we would be in New York and I couldn't wait to see what he had in store for us. Today he is wearing a nice white t-shirt and some dark blue pants that fitted him nicely. His green eyes looked straight at me and he gave me his thousand watt smile. Darcy who obviously knew what happened between us couldn't hold her excitement in and nearly jumped out of her seat.

"Kane let's go and write on Eli's face while he is taking his nap." Darcy said getting up.

Kane looked hesitant at first, but then got up. "Oh hell yea. This is pay back for him not letting me use his phone!"
