a/n: my weekend has been so stressful tbh. I literally got in a car accident with my cousin and it was absolute bull crap because this 100 year old lady cut us off and it was impossible to miss her so of course we collided and we had to deal with police and insurance for like hours and it was so gay and I was pissed. I worked in the lab occasionally glancing at Reed. He had seemed somewhat off and since I wasn't here basically at all yesterday I had nothing to blame it on.

"What are you working on?" I asked as he continued to look through the microscope.

"The suits we were wearing during the storm have seemed to have adapted to our powers as well-"

"So if Sue turns invisible it does to and if Johnny starts on fire it does as well-"

"And no matter how far I stretch it stretches too" we chuckled together.

"So what are you working on?" he asked and I smiled.

"Well I was thinking, if you do decide to keep your powers and use then for good, tech support is gonna need to be able to contact you so I am finishing up these ear pieces I'm making so no matter where you are I can talk to you guys" I said and he nodded coming over to look at my tray of small silver ear pieces that would fit perfectly.

"What about Ben and his situation?" Reed asked pointing to his ears and the fact Ben pretty much had none.

"Well I'm sure he can hold his own and when we change him back he won't be needing them anyway" I said and he nodded.

"Why are you worried about the suits?" it was like we were trying to cover up some big question we didn't want to ask eachother.

"Johnny keeps burning his shirts. Yesterday I guess he reached his limit" I laughed lightly going to turn back to my work.

"Can you bring this to Sue?" he asked and I nodded.

"Um what happened with her yesterday?" I asked and he looked at me his eyebrows raised.

"I know we said we wouldn't talk about this stuff but both of you are off and I can only guess I chose a bad day to take off of work" I said and he shrugged.

"Let's just say we both realized some things and now we are both to stubborn to admit our wrong" he said and I nodded grabbing the suit before finding my way out of the lab. Sue was in her room reading as I knocked on the door.

"Hey Reed wants you to put this on. He thinks the suits were affected the same way you are so they can adapt to your powers" I laid down the navy suit and she looked at it.

"So I can turn invisible and not be naked?" she asked and I nodded. I let her get changed when I bumped into Reed who was on his way to the living room.

I followed him there where Ben sat enjoying his drink. He liked not having to do anything all day yet at the same time hated the fact it wasn't by choice. Soon Johnny and Sue made it into the room wearing their suits as well. Luke sat beside Ben chuckling at them as I took the more professional approach.

"Your uniforms were exposed to the storm like you. So they can transform like you, becoming invisible, changing size on demand or remaining impervious to flame" Johnny was obviously excited rubbing his body through the suit and letting excited chuckles escape his lips.
