Laura POV:

Me: Hey Mom! you might be shopping at the moment, but text me when you have a chance!

Mom: I just got back to the hotel. How are things in the UK?

Me: Pretty good. How was shopping?

Mom: It was great! I got 6 new shirts, 3 pairs of pants, a bag, a jacket (It's pink leather like my old one), and 2 pairs of shoes!

Me: Cute! I can't wait to see you!

Mom: What have you been up to today?

Me: We're at the studio. One of the producer guys is trying to get me to step up to the mic.

Mom: You're singing as well?

Me: No. A couple days ago I was singing along to myself with an Aerosmith cover that the guys are doing.

Mom: How do you know Aerosmith?

Me: One of my foster dads sold his soul to the band.

Mom: I see. I texted them. They seem like really nice guys.

Me: They are.

Mom: Don't tell anyone I asked this, please.

Me: Um... okay? Is everything alright?

Mom: Yes.

Me: Okay, shoot.

Mom: How is Dan?

Me: He's good. He seems really happy apart from missing you like crazy.

Mom: He talks about me?

Me: He asks me about you sometimes. I used to cry when I thought about you because I missed you so much, but now when I think of you I smile! :)

Mom: That's great!

Me: You know that box of things that he had given you?

Mom: Yeah? What about it?

Me: I have it.

Mom: I thought everything was sold!?!?!??!

Me: I had grabbed it while I packed up for Ethan and Michael's.

Mom: Is it with you?

Me: Yes.

Mom: Even the notes and jewelry?

Me: I never lost any of it. I'm wearing the watch right now.

Mom: You can keep the watch.

Me: Really? Thanks!

Mom: I have to go. I'll text you later!

Me: I love you!

Mom: I love you too! Bye!

Me: Bye!!

I'm left with nothing to do, which is very awkward. Will wasn't feeling well today, so rehearsal is slightly less full of sarcasm, lies, and Rihanna references. His absence also brings a lack of strings, leaving Charlie on guitar, Kyle on bass, and Dan on keys. Dan had attempted (and severely failed) to get me to be on guitar for the day. There's no way I would be the suckish guitarist in a group of professional/world famous musicians.

I hear the guys chattering. I think my name is in the conversation, but it would be very awkward to ask the guys if they're talking about me, but they're really talking about something completely different.

"Laura!" Dan calls. Knew it. "Could you come in here for a sec?"

"Sure." I stroll into the room where Kyle and Charlie are arguing and Woody is trying to calm them both down.

"Yes?" I ask, hoping it's nothing to resolve the conflict arising near a large amplifier.

"We need you to convince Charlie the proper lyric to the song we're covering is 'Then I kiss your eyes' not 'Then I close your eyes'. " Dan says.

"And you just assume I know the song?" I say.

"Mark was going on and on about how great of a singer you were while you were singing along to this song." Dan explains.

"I don't actually know the lyric." I admit. "I only really know the chorus."

"But during the chorus it's 'close my eyes'!" Charlie argues.

"You have a valid point, but in the verse, it's kiss." Kyle replies calmly.

"I know someone who can tell you everything about any Aerosmith song." I say loudly, hoping to get Charlie and Kyle's attention to settle this.

"Who?" Charlie asks.

"Whom." Dan mutters.

"Ethan." I say, pulling out my phone, ready to call him.

"Let's settle this, Kyle." Charlie says in a smart-ass tone.

I put my phone on speaker.

"Hey Laura! How are things across the pond?" Ethan answers.

"Things are great." I reply. "We have a question regarding Aerosmith."

"Ask away." Ethan says. "Wait- who's we?"

"Me, Dan, and the rest of the guys at the studio." I reply.

"Oh." He pauses. "Ask away."

"In 'It's the End of the World'," I start. "Is the lyric-" I pause, forgetting what lyric.

"I kiss your eyes or I close your eyes." Dan whispers.

"Is the lyric 'I kiss your eyes' or 'I close your eyes'?" I ask.

"In the chorus, there's a lyric with 'Close my eyes'," He starts. "But in the second verse, it's 'I kiss your eyes'." He explains.

"BOOM!" Kyle shouts, clapping and raising his arms.

"Shut up." Charlie mutters loudly.

"Thank you, Ethan." I say.

"No problem." He replies. "How did this come up in the conversation?"

"We're doing a cover." Dan says as Woody starts a coughing fit.

"I see." He replies. "Is that all?"

"Yes, thank you again." I say.

"Bye!" Ethan says, hanging up.

"The lyric websites also say 'Kiss' as opposed to 'Close'!" Kyle says, holding his phone up.

"Dammit... fine!" Charlie sighs, annoyed.

Dutch POV: (Around 2:00 AM)

I love driving at night, especially when I have a project. I turn onto Whitecross Place. Today, Paul had seen them going into a building on that street. I pull up in front of the looming building. I know exactly what I'm going to do. Laura is such a beautiful girl, that that must be her best trait. There's three traits a girl can have; pretty, smart, or talented. I know Laura is very talented and attractive, so there's no way she's smart as well. Her lips are perfectly shaped and her eyes are just the right size. Her figure is exactly like her mum's. Dan must pride himself with having such a beautiful daughter. What would he do if his beautiful girl was slightly less beautiful?
