I don't know if I already have, but I'd like to give a shoutout to @kathrinvm for voting a lot! I'd also like to point out that at the time i'm writing this, were at 241 reads! AHHHH! THIS IS SURREAL!
Dan POV:
The front doors have just opened and I'm watching Laura peek around the curtain, seeing a few people find their seats. Lewis Del Mar doesn't start for another hour, but a couple people have trickled in. We have just finished an interview for a local radio station, which Kyle obviously hated for some reason. I remember that mostly everyone in our tour crew has already gone home for the holidays, so we won't really have a 'end of the USA tour' party as we usually have. I hear a loud thump from behind me. I turn around (along with a bunch of other people running around) to see Will lying on the floor near a speaker that's about to get rolled into the stage. He had tripped over apparently nothing, because the floor behind him is vacant.
"Ugh. Did you trip over a pile of air again?" Laura asks, scoffing sarcastically
"Your gracefulness leaves me in awe." Kyle says.
"Grace." I correct.
"Gee, thanks Kyle. I'm so glad I can wow you just by walking ever so elegantly." Will replies sarcastically, getting up.
"Guys!" Laura whisper shouts. "Grab Woody"
"Why?" I ask, mildly concerned.
"Just grab him!" She replies.
"Did somebody say my name?" Woody says, walking into the room directly backstage.
"Yes!" She says. "Look at this." She motions him to peek around the curtain. He looks for a few second.
"Oh my god..." He says, laughing.
"What?" Kyle asks, coming out of nowhere. He shoves past me an looks out. He ducks back in, covering his face. His shoulders shake with laughter.
"Oh my." I decide to investigate for myself. I've seen some pretty weird posters brought to our tours, such as the two giant posters of my head and "How am I gonna be an octopus about this.", but I've never seen something this odd. It's a giant Woody head, probably twice as big as my poster heads. The poster is on (faux) fire and has Ke$ha hair, a crown, and sunglasses. You can barely tell it's Woody.
"It looks just like you!" I exclaim. I duck my head back in to see Kyle still laughing.
"How did they get that in?" Woody says loudly.
"I don't know." Kyle starts.
"I think the real question is, how drunk were they when they made it. Wait... There's an usher talking to them! They've confiscated the sign!" Woody says.
"Laura, get out there and get the sign back!" He says, nudging me jokingly.
"No! They won't listen to some random twelve year old." She argues.
"Tell them who you are!" Kyle says.
"No no no no no..." I say. "I don't really want the stormers to know I have a daughter... yet." I say. "Sorry if that was offensive..." I say, quickly realizing how rude that is.
"Thanks. I really didn't want you to to the "oh and by the way I have a twelve year old daughter" tweet and everyone freak out." She says, sending a wave of relief over my body.
"Get Dick to get it back!" Kyle exclaims.
"What. Kyle just had a good idea?" Woody says, fake freaking out.
"That brings me to one more than you, Woody." Kyle remarks.
"Ooooh snap!" Laura says under her breath. I notice Dick walk by.
"DICK!" I yell loudly, causing at least three people to drop something or flinch. "Sorry." I say in my normal voice.
"What?" Dick asks, stopping what he's doing.
"So there was just this absolutely hilarious sign that got confiscated, and we want the creator to have it back or at least get it back at the end of the show. Its quite wonderful." I say.
"And who took it?" He asks. "An usher?"
"Yeah." I say. "You see that guy and his girlfriend in the third chunk of seats?" I ask.
"Yeah..." Dick says, not questioning our request.
"Ask them which usher took their sign." Dick looks at me like I'm forcing him, even though I'm just asking.
"Fine." He walks out onto the stage and hops off. He talks to the couple for a bit and walks out the door to the lobby. Laura is cracking up in the corner.
"He's actually doing this..." She laughs. I notice she has a dimple on her left cheek when she smiles. We casually watch more and more people take their seats. Dick eventually walks back into the auditorium and talks to them. They smile happily at him. I assume he's saved their sign. Dick hops back onto the stage and trots back to where we are standing.
"It was left unattended in the usher's closet, So I hid it in the guest's coat closet." He whispers.
"I gave them a claim ticket for the end of the show."
Woody frowns. "So they won't have it during the show?" He asks.
"It would've been confiscated again." Dick says.
"Question: Did you introduce yourself as the tour manager?" I ask.
"Yup. They thought I was just a random guy before I did." We chat for a few more minutes, but I pretty much tune out. I notice Laura has lots of things written on her arms, because she took off her jacket. She's wearing a batman shirt that has sleeves a bit bast her elbows. One of the things I can read without it being obvious I'm staring at her arms is "LV LDM W" I have no idea what it stands for, but I decide not to ask. I also notice the handwriting on both her arms is exactly the same. Maybe she's right and left handed. I look at Kyle's watch and notice its 7:30. Time for Lewis Del Mar to go on. I'm exited to see them preform, so I sit down in a fold out chair to watch from backstage.

Sorry if there's typos in this. My computer was in the shop for a few days and I wrote this pretty quick.
