Wow! I didn't think anyone would actually read this!

Laura POV:
I wake up to a quiet house. My blue eyes fly open and I see a note on my ukulele stand. I squint to read "We went on a walk, will be back in an hour. -Ethan and Michael. 9:15." I reach for my glasses on my nightstand. I feel my phone, so I grab that too. I slide my glasses on and tun on my phone. 9:46 AM, Saturday, December 2. It's time to do some major internet stalking. I search "Dan Smith London" and the first result is a Wikipedia page. "Dan Smith (singer)." I click it immediately. "Daniel Campbell "Dan" Smith (born 14 July 1986) is an British singer, songwriter and record producer. He is the lead singer, record producer, songwriter and founder of the British rock band Bastille. The band formed in 2010 and gained mass popularity in 2013 when the song "Pompeii" was released." We have the same birthday! Next to the paragraph is a photo of a dark haired man singing. That's him. I read the rest of the article, and learn he is the lead singer of a rock band. I google them to see how popular they are. "Bastille" I enter in the search bar. The first result is their website, in fact, the whole first page is entirely things related to the band. I listen to the first song that pops up on youtube called "Good Grief." I immediately recognize the song from the first bass bit. I listen to the rest of the song, thinking "Oh my god, this man is my father, or at least pretending to." Thats the first time I thought that. What if he's some creep that is trying to persuade me to go with him? I decide that Michael being the paranoid person he is wouldn't have told me if he had any doubts that this is real. Good Grief finishes, and the next song that comes up is called "Fake It", which I kinda recognize too. I decide to shower before Ethan and Michael come home, so I pull my towel off the hook on my door and turn the corner into the bathroom. I turn on some Ella Eyre to serenade me. I sing along to her shuffled tracks, when an unfamiliar song comes on. "Well, I run the office, and tend the cabins and grounds and run errant for my mother." A man's voice says. A newly familiar voice floods the speaker and into the shower. It's Dan's voice, singing a TLC song. What? Why is this on Ella Eyre shuffle? I step out of the shower and look at my phone. Apparently it's Bastille ft. Ella Eyre, No Angels. I grin, knowing that my dad knows my favorite musician. I step back into the shower and exit about three songs later. I wrap my hair in a towel hat, drying my body with another towel. I dart down the hall, wrapped in white towels. I get dressed in black skinny jeans and a black and white striped top. I brush out my naturally straight hair and hang up my towels. I hear the front door open.
"Laura! We're home!" Michael yells.
"Okay!" I yell back, opening the door to the kitchen to see them. "We need to talk to you about something." Ethan says, twisting his ring around his finger anxiously.
Dan POV:
"You don't know if she's 100% yours." Will says from the couch in the tour bus lounge where he's doing something on his phone.
"Have you seen that picture? She looks exactly like her mum... just not ginger! You didn't know Ashley, sure, but you've seen pictures!" I argue back, staring at him.
"Why do you even want her, Dan?" He argues.
"For one, she's stuck in a foster home in Chicago. I really miss Ashley, even though Laura was you know, an accident, she's still a girl who needs a normal upbringing!" I say, hopefully not loud enough for everyone downstairs to hear.
"If you drag her around on tour all the time, thats so much less normal than foster parents!" Will whisper shouts, putting down his phone. "Besides, you haven't even met her! All you know is that school photo!" He says, trying to convince me to drop the whole meeting Laura plan.
"Will, I'm not going to argue with you over something that doesn't directly impact you." I say calmly.
"It does impact me! what if she-" He starts, but I cut him off.
"The FitnessGram pacer test is a multistage ar-" I start. "NO! YOU KNOW I HAD TO DO THAT! MRS RACHELLE WAS PURE EVIL!" He yells, obviously asking for attention from someone downstairs.
"Is Dan talking about the Pacer Test again?" Woody says from downstairs.
"YES!" Will yells back down at him. "COME BACK ME UP!"
"I can't!" Woody starts. "Football is on!" Will rolls his eyes.
"Of course..." He mutters. Will leaves the upstairs lounge and walks downstairs.
That was weird. I wonder why he's so against Laura. What if he thinks I'm going to quit music and he'll be left without a job? He's an amazing artist in so many ways, so he would have no problem. But there's no way I would give up this amazing opportunity the four of us have had. If I would need to, I would get my sister to let her stay over during some parts of the tour. She likes kids, she has two of her own. My phone buzzes from the coffee table. Text from Michael and Ethan Kelly. Laura's foster parents. "Hey Dan, we can call around 6:00 UK time, If thats okay with you?" I looked at my watch. It was 4:23. I text back. "Sounds great!" I reply, hoping I'm not sounding like a creep.
"SWAT" A voice yells from behind me. I jump about five feet in the air and drop my phone.
"Dammit Kyle!" I yell, turning around. "Stop doing that! Why do you always say Swat?" I ask, picking my phone off the floor.
"It's in a song that I heard yesterday in a mall." He says casually.
"When did you go to the mall?" I ask, hoping he didn't go alone and get harassed by fans like last time.
"I bought everyone christmas gifts." He says, smiling awkwardly.
"Alone?" I ask. "Yes..." He responds. "Did you run into any fangirls?" I ask jokingly.
"No, but I saw this woman taking pictures of me. I was in line next to a guy who looked kind of like Will from behind." He laughs.
"YESSSS!" Woody yells from downstairs, obviously overjoyed that his favourite team won the big game he had been anticipating for at least a month.
"Let's get something to eat, you haven't eaten anything all day pretty much, Dan." Kyle says.
"Lies! I ate some cheese." I reply.
"Barely! There wasn't much left." He responds.
"Fine." We walk downstairs to an overexcited Woody, as well as Charlie, Dick, Adam, and Steve.
"Hey, where's Will?" I ask.
"He left to go for a walk." Charlie says from next to the sad excuse for a kitchen.
"Drama Queen of the Tour Award goes to... Mr. William Farquarson." I mutter.
