G'DAY Guys it's Jessi C and today I have a confession to make...

I have never tried any American native foods before

*pause for a moment to allow all American fans shake their heads in shame at me*

In my defence I have always wanted to try some American food but...I live in Australia and there is very few shops where we sell American products, I live on the other side of the world and I am broke as heck so it's not like I can go out and buy anything online to be shipped to my doorstep. Honestly the only American culture I get to experience is my GP doctor...who is American and doesn't want me to eat anything sugary anyways.

So I have researched online foods I would like to try and I came up with a small list and I am probs gonna guess what they may taste like and rank out of 10 how badly I want to try it.

So be prepared to judge me, I know I have....AND MAKE SURE YOU EAT BEFORE YOU READ CAUSE I HAVE WRITTEN THIS AND TRUST ME I WAS STARVING BY THE END OF IT!...so shall we

1) Pop tarts

I have seen these once, no wait twice on two different YouTube channels and they said that these taste really good and even though I have no clue what they are, they apparently come in a good selection of flavours and all you have to do is toast them...minimal cooking I can handle

2) Deep fried Oreos

Technically it's an Oreo cookie with batter around it but still it looks really good from the images you find on Google, plus Oreos come in so many flavours that I have never tried. An actual fact, you know how you can buy double stuffed oreos? I could never convince my mother to buy them nor could we find any place that sold them, so what I would do is get two separate oreos, get the two parts that both have cream and then sandwich them together to make a double stuffed oreo...the things you do for food!

3) Dr Pepper

I have no clue what a Dr Pepper is but after some research I found out it is basically a type of soft drink with a "unique flavour" it sounds good but the name itself doesn't really sell anything for me, if anything 'Dr Pepper' sounds like a character from one of the Marvel comics, still you can't judge a can buy its brand.

4) Twinkie bar

I have seen this in Grease an on one of Dan and Phil's vlogs and I have to say it doesn't look too bad, mostly looks like sponge cake with the cream on the inside. They sell boxes of these in the local reject shop but I have never been allowed to buy them. But judging by Phil and Dan's reactions when they tried a Twinkie bar I really think it would be worth the wait.

5) Breakfast burrito

I like my Mexican food...but for breakfast? I sit on the fence for this one also considering that I have never had one before. It wouldn't be any different to a regular burrito would it? American fans explain in the comments below how a regular burrito is different to a breakfast burrito.

6) American McDonalds

Also not too sure how much different this would be to Australian McDonalds yet apparently the sizing is different. Apparently our large size is equalled to your small so I don't know how big the food gets but I can see myself eating your small meals cause I don't eat much. Plus I like how you guys have more variety in your menu then we have here. I wish we had the same McDonalds menus throughout.

7) Buffalo wings

I am assuming these are basically chicken wings seasoned in a specific way. It sounds tasty but I am not the biggest fan when it comes to eating chicken wings. I'll try it but I don't really think I am going to enjoy this one specifically.

8) Chili dog

I like the sound of a hot dog and chili combined. It seems like something I would eat completely and have six or seven afterwards. Not good cause it will mean trips to the bathroom but it would seriously be worth it. And this may seem strange but when I think of Chili dogs I link them back to baseball...I don't know why, please tell me if there is no link I think it would save a lot of embarrassment.

9) Grilled Cheese stake sandwich

Probably from West Philadelphia born and raise in a food truck where it spent most of its days hehehe...I'll stop.

I like these sandwiches, even though I have never had Grilled cheese and stake combined but it looks so good to eat. I figure it would maintain a lot of grease but it would be worth feeling like the fresh prince of Belair for a moment and doin a Will Smith.

10) Pecan pie/pumpkin pie

Either pie I have never tried either and I would love to know what it tastes like. I know I know I could probs make it myself but it wouldn't be as American as what it would be if it was from America. I think though the pecan pie would be a bit more of a favourite than the pumpkin for me but you know what, at the end of the day its pie...and I like my pie.

So what did you think? I think that in this present time I need to visit America cause you guys have probably the best foods and beverages...not dissing Australia in anyway but still. I need to try these foods, especially the deep fried oreos cause that looks like heaven on a stick. I will maybe for now just stick to lamingtons and vegemite and shrimp on the barbie til I can live these dreams

If you guys have any other American foods that you think I might like, comment below and I can do a part two to this blog or even a blog on other country foods, who knows I might do one of my own country for you guys to try.
