"Yeaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! That's my best friend!!!!!!" Laurens smiled and yelled.  Everyone cheered for Hamilton and Eliza, pure happiness. Everyone. Everyone except Laurens, which was fake happiness. It seems he was extremely good at it, too. A bit too good.

"Forever and ever!" Laurens said quieter. Laurens knew that Hamilton was happy to be her husband, and Eliza was happy to be his wife. He would never break their happiness. Hamilton and Laurens always had this... thing. They were more than friends, they didn't show it often. It was always because Eliza was his girlfriend at that time. He always longed for something more, wanted it to be more real, closer, more love-like. That would never happen, though. He could never have Hamilton now, it's far too late. No, he didn't want to break Eliza's heart, either. He didn't want to be selfish. He let go of him, but not mentally. The inside of Laurens still desired Hamilton. Deeply in love.

"Yeah... hahaha..." his smile slowly started to fade into a frown, he cautiously made his way through the crowd, walking away, hoping he wouldn't be seen. Hamilton and Eliza weren't even looking, he didn't care if anyone else was. Hercules gave one glance, but he assumed it was alright. The more he made his way through, the more his smile faded, you could see his broken heart more clearly. He hates to walk away like this, but if he stayed any longer he'd break in front of everyone, surely. They might of just thought it was tears of joy, but he'd look miserable. Everyone knew Laurens had a crush, more than a crush on Hamilton, Hamilton was his favorite subject to talk about. That's the only thing he'd talk about, other than red coats or the war happening. He moved quickly, almost pushing people, but not quite. He swiftly ran out the door as he approached it, running down the hall and to somewhere he can just let it all out. Hamilton... his beloved... would never be his... no matter how much he longed or desired him. He could turn back right now, he just didn't want to break down in front of everybody. He sat down against a wall, as far as he's going to move. His eyes were already forming tears, a tear sliding down his cheek.

"Pull yourself together, Laurens... pull yourself together...!" he told himself, he wiped his tears while the other fell on the ground. Hamilton was playing both at the same time, which Laurens really didn't like, but there was something about Hamilton that he wanted more of, he didn't want it to stop. He loved him, but he was cheating on both of them. One heart had to break in half, and that was Laurens's. There were footsteps getting louder, but no one spoke and he couldn't tell who was coming. He chocked down a sob, moving to the side so he could scoot away, he stood up and stepped back. He hoped he could escape, they sounded like they were coming towards him quick. Laurens looked behind him, looking for a room to hide in. There was one room, the door open. He started to quickly walk away, trying to make not so much noise.
