Emi was quite tired after a long day of testing.

It was still horrifically stressful for her, but she had now a small bank of hopes and confidence that she'd done well.

She'd sent George a text saying that she was going to a shift at the café, working a little earlier than usual for today.

By working a few hours earlier, she'd get tomorrow off, and since it was her last final, and last day of school for the summer tomorrow, she didn't mind working a few more hours.

She entered the café, going to the back and putting her stuff away, and tying her apron around her body.

There were a few people around the café, but it wasn't really busy at all.

She took a gaze across the café before spotting Tomoko, sitting in a booth near the back, away from the other people.

"Ah," she smiled.

She began to make her way over to his booth.

"祖父!こんにちは!" ( Grandfather! Hello! ) she called to him as she arrived at his booth.

He looked at her with a bright smile.

"ああ!エミ!お元気ですか?" ( Ah! Emi! How are you? ) he asked.

She smiled even brighter.

"私は大丈夫です!お元気ですか?" ( I'm well! How are you? )
