Walking into my house I set my things off to the side and yell for my beast of a dog.

"Zeek! Come on boy, let's go to the dog park before it gets dark."

Barreling around the corner he is jumping around and barking happily at me. I get his leash and we start the mile long walk to the dog park.

It is surprisingly not raining today. Letting out a small smile I look up at the sky. It feels great to have the wind passing me by and my best friend at my side.

Meeting Gabriel was definitely one of the best things to happen to me in a long time. We have been texting back and forth now and he wants to see me next Wednesday. I'm terrified but I think he noticed my lack of social skills because he didn't make it seem like it would be a date, just new friends getting to know each other.

Finally we get to the dog park and Zeek is already dragging me to the gate trying to get there as fast as possible.

"Calm down Zeek! I'm moving as fast I can!"

I finally get past the second gate and unhook Zeek from his leash, watching as he takes off to jump straight into the pond. Shaking my head at him I go and sit at one of the benches in the shade.

Five minutes later I see a beautiful golden retriever walking towards me. He starts sniffing at me so I give him a small pat on his head.

"Hey there cutie, you're adorable." I coo at him

Looking at me, he makes a quick decision to jump up and sit next to me on the bench.

I start to laugh but then stop when he starts to shake off next to me! Did I forget to mention he was soaking wet from the pond?

"Oh no! Max! Cut it out! You're getting the girl all dirty!" I hear through my laughing and squealing. Looking up I see a guy running up to me. He has short brown hair and a slim build, although you can see he works out. Dark brown glasses covering his green eyes. He is giving off a little bit of a nerd vibe with his Lord of the Rings t shirt. All in all the guy is gorgeous.

"I'm so sorry. Max get down!" he says with a blush and a laugh.

Max continues to sit next to me now that he calmed down. He looks at me then licks me on the face which gets me to start giggling again.

"Don't worry about it. My dog would probably do the same exact thing, the big goof." I say with a small smile on my face.

The guy gives me a big smile back. If i thought he was gorgeous before he is breathtaking now. I think I was staring at him a little too long because he starts to blush. Oh my word. He is a blusher just like me and it is just too adorable.

"My name is Kota. Do you mind if I sit with you?" He gestures to the bench I'm sitting at.

"Oh no, go ahead." I say while moving my bag to the other side of the bench so he has room.

Looking around I try and locate Zeek and realize that his playing with Max.

"Look that's my dog right there playing with Max. His name is Zeek." I say pointing at them.
