There is no such thing as coincidence.

Was the first thing that popped into my head when I thought about the situation.

Jay and Kayli, I refuse to acknowledge her as being Marie, took us to the room I was brought in the first time. "Here we will have much more privacy." We were told by the blue eyed sociopath.

Axel and I, now bound to a chair while Jay tilts his head and studies the two of us.

"Can someone tell us what the hell is going on?" Axel asks in exasperation for the millionth time.

Kayli rolls her eyes at us like she is fed up with our lack of knowledge, "you would think it would be obvious. Doesn't your Academy training help you at all?" She bitterly questions while looking at her nails.

Putting a hand on her arm and keeping eye contact with us Jay states, "I will explain my story to help you better understand.."

His mother a heroin addict who would sell her body to get her next fix. So she never knew who his father was. Growing up, all he knew was to get a cold wash cloth when his mama would heat up and sweat when the drugs were taking effect. Knew that when she was ready to shoot up that he would have to help her tie the belt tightly around her bicep.

Little did she know, that while she was lost in the world of drugs, that her little boy lacked what most kids would have a conscience. That while she gave loving care to the men who supplied her the ticket to her next drug filled travel, her son would take joy in torturing animals.

So, when she overdosed they did not suspect the boy of giving her a little bit too much of the drug when she asked for help. He knew that he would have to act distraught and cry. The whole while trying not to break into a smile.

The police officer in charge of the case knew of the perfect couple to take the little boy in. This Academy couple team had been trying to have a baby but were unable to. They could take care of him.

Growing up, Jay knew of the Academy, was always told that he would make an excellent member. So, when he went into training, many were shocked to find out that he had not been accepted.

His parents told him that he did not pass the psych evaluation. The anger that filled him that day was regrettable as he did not have the strength to hold back from killing his 'parents'.

Jay does not accept rejection. Thus began his search for other Academy rejects.

Finishing his story with a smirk, I look over at Axel and he looks completely speechless with his eyes wide. Shaking my head in confusion and a little fear of the mentally unstable man in front of me I ask, "what does this have to do with Jane? I thought she was in charge?"

"Is she? Maybe that's what I want everyone to think?"

Kayli begins to laugh like he just said the funniest joke, "Please, mama is crazy. Not that we all aren't but she wouldn't be able to plan this whole situation by herself."

Not being able to hold my tongue, I lash out "She's not your fucking mom!" I have never wanted to bash someone's head in as much as I want to do to her.

With a smile on her face she leans in closer to me. "She's not yours either. She's more of a mom to me than she has ever been to you. Haven't you heard that family is a choice?"

She stops smiling when I spit in her face.

"You fucking bitch!"

I smile.

Cutting off any retort that was going to be said Axel asks "What do you need us for? Why kidnap us?" You can tell he is trying to stop himself from yelling in anger.

"Well, S we only needed because Jane wants her dead." Jay says then looks towards me, "She already murdered your father. You were the last thing that needed to be taken care of."

My whole body suddenly goes cold "Oh god."

Not even pausing he continues "Anyways, we knew that the Academy wouldn't step in for a mission unless the job was dire. Well, that's what your dad said before Jane killed him."

Looking at Jay I ask "What do you mean? How would my dad know that."

Kayli interrupts Jay much to his annoyance and says, "How much of a dumbass are you? Your dad was Academy, tried to get Jane in too but she was rejected. He retired when he left Jane for that other bitch."

Not being able to comprehend all this information I mutter to myself, "This is all too much."

Axel glares towards the twat aka Kayli and asks, "Did you target my team?"

"Obviously. Like I would be some freak with five boyfriends. Although the sex was good. I was trying to get into the academy to get information for Jay but, as you know, that did not work out."

"Fuck! You fucking bitch!"

I was wallowing in self pity laying on the couch stuffing Cheetos in my mouth and watching the recorded spongebob shows saved on the tv when I heard it. Continuous knocking.

Huh. Weird.

Struggling off the couch, I waddled to the door and opened it. Nobody fucking there! Did I seriously get up for a ding dong ditch! Cursing the high heavens I go to shut the door when I see a red envelope. Grabbing and reading it quickly I start to panic.

No no no no no no no! Where the fuck is my phone?!

In my rush I finally find it and start to red line everybody. Suddenly, Marc's name pops up on my phone and I answer.

"What the fuck man! What's wro-" I cut him off with my urgent information.

"Everyone needs to come home and be careful where you are! I just got a letter anonymously saying that you're being targeted by an anti academy group! The letter also says where Sang and Axel are being held. Gather the fucking troops and get over here!"

Hanging up quickly I run to the surveillance videos to see who dropped off the letter. Fuck fuck come on let me see something useful.

Stopping around the time of the knocking I see a hooded guy run over to the door, all skin covered up, he looks around then drops the envelope. Suddenly, as if he heard something he looks up and my breath catches.

I know that fucking face.
