Leaves are dancing along with the wind as I follow the woman walking her beast of a dog, her blonde hair is being swept away by the breeze and she looks like she doesn't haven't a care in the world. I wish that were true.

I can't really figure her out.

Ever since my team and I's relationship with Kayli went down in flames, I've come to the conclusion that all women are good for one thing and one thing only. Sex. I may sound like an asshole but, when that bitch tore my heart out for no apparent reason I swore to myself that I would never put myself or my team in that position again.

We are finally getting back to how we used to be and I owe everything to the Blackbourne team for helping us through these rough years. They have really pushed their way into being a part of my family.

I won't let this woman in front of me rip my family apart. So, I'm just going to show them what an easy fuck she is and that she is nothing to us but a piece of information for our mission.

When I noticed everyone's reactions to her I just knew that I had to do something about it, being a dick to her isn't really helping and the guys get pissed at me, so I will have to try a different approach.

Keeping that in mind, I start to jog up to her and Zeek, she glances up at me with those wide green eyes, "oh, I had forgotten you were here. It was a wonderful five minutes." She sighs in regret.

I scowl at her then smirk, " You know you couldn't forget a face like mine." Throwing in a wink while I'm at it. She's going to be panting for me in no time.

She rolls her eyes at me and keeps walking. Well, if flirting won't work with her, I will have to get to her by being nice to the beast she loves so much.

Raising my right hand I look at the leash and say "let me take him for you."

She looks at me with a dumbstruck expression then smiles shyly at me, "sure, why not?" She then goes to explaining exactly how to hold the leash like I'm some idiot.

I walk with Zeek and try to make small talk with S but she just ignores me. We walk in silence until she trips and falls into a bush. I help her out while trying to contain my laughter but I can't help but let out a few chuckles.

"Oh, yeah, just go ahead and laugh at me." She says with an annoyed expression on her face.

I can feel my face softening when looking down at her, lifting my left hand since I still have Zeek on my right, I brush away a few strands of hair out of her face.

"You really are beautiful, you know that, baby?" I whisper while leaning down to brush my lips against hers. Right before I do she says, "Go, Zeek."

Confused, I open my eyes to look at her sickeningly sweet smile and by the time I finally process what she said I'm being dragged by the huge dog down the street.

Let me tell you, that shit hurts.

All I hear is cackling then she yells, "Zeek, stop!" Immediately, the demon dog as Raven likes to call him, comes to a halt. Groaning I just roll over and lay there. I can already feel the road rash forming on my skin.

S comes into view with a sexy smirk of her own and her hands on her hips, " you really thought you could call my beautiful and I'd just forget all of times you've been a complete asscloud to me? I don't think so! Get your head out of your ass, Axel. Not every girl is going to break your heart. Also, you haven't gotten the right to call me by a nickname. I am only S to you and the only guy who can call me baby is North."

She grabs Zeek's leash and I can't help but be embarrassed by my actions. Maybe she isn't like Kayli but am I willing to risk it? No, I'm not but maybe with time I could be?
