Alpha pov
I stretched and got ready for the day. I walked out into the kitchen to see a huge blue, black, and purple cake on the table with the words
                                                              HAPPY BIRTHDAY
                                                            THORN AND PERCY
I stood there staring at the cake till perce walked in. his jaw dropped and the others jumped out from behind things to yell "surprise!". Once I got over the shock I laughed. Percy was already eating cake by the time I sat down. We all laughed and enjoyed ourselves before we went out to train the demigods. We would be going to Olympus later in the day. we all came out of the cabin laughing and smiling, even me. we forgot about what day it was until we saw the surprised, confused, and sullen looks on the campers. they were already training and stopped when we arrived. "may i ask why you are so happy?" piper asked attempting a little charmspeak. "today is alpha and omega's 2,400,000 birthday, so we were just celebrating." isle said. "but today is august 18th" i heard one camper say. " really? huh never knew that one." i said bluffing it out. "how could you not?!?!? isn't time the same from wherever you are from?" another camper burst out. "no time is different back home. for every year here it's 100,000 years there." beta said "so wait alpha and omega are only 24 here on earth......" someone called out. 'shit' i thought. "well yeah i guess you could say that." flame said scratching the back of his neck. i glared at him, he flinched back and hid behind isle. i felt a hand on my shoulder "watch your mood, we don't want another upsilon." beta said calmly i took a breath and tried to calm down. the campers were whispering now, i caught mine and Percy's name more than once. 'why today? can't i just have a normal birthday with my brother?' i thought and nearly jumped out of my skin when perce replied 'no we can't we are primordials, this is our life.' i sighed. we all got to training till a camper yelled in fear. we looked around till we spotted an old friend "Nyx over here!" Percy yelled a smile lit up her face as the primordial of darkness glided over towards us. "i have some news for you from your father." she said "what's the news nyx?" i asked her "he said she will escape tartarus in less than a month, they will not be safe here. together the demigods and gods may stand a chance but they don't trust you. your father said it may be best if you revealed yourselves soon." she said i looked at Percy and nodded "fair enough but when we are ready alpha and i will until then they will just have to make do with the team." Percy said just before she left Nyx said "happy birthday you two" i turned to the others "you heard her right?" i asked they all nodded and i said to the campers "after lunch the team shall be revealing themselves to you." there was excited chatter amongst the demigods. i sat on a bench and massaged my temples. 'this is going to be a long day' i thought looking out over the eager campers. they trained with renewed vigor, like dad had said they might. after lunch all the campers ran to the amphitheater and sat next to their cabin mates. even the gods were there, wondering when they decided to show omega nudged me. 'this is going to be good.' i nodded at his comment. bow and arrow went first. they waited till it was quiet before they spoke "we are brothers not only because of the family we have with the team." arrow said "but by blood as well, our father is Apollo like our little brother thought." bow said with both faces covered in a smile they pulled off their hoods to reveal striking blonde hair. looking at each other they said in tandem " our names are lee Fletcher and Michael yew" they pulled off their masks and walked to the Apollo campers who were cheering each trying to hug the brothers they gained back. Beauty and forge went up next hand in hand. "I was once a councilor to cabin 10, my name is sileana." she said taking off the hood and mask and smiled brightly at beckendorf. Who said "i was also a councilor but to cabin 9, my name is Charles beckendorf" after taking off his hood and mask he sat next to his wife near both of their cabin mates. who were now cheering as well. taking a deep breath flame grabbed isle hand and stood in front of the campers. "this lovely woman is my wife calypso. my name is Leo Valdez." he said they both undid their hoods and sat next to each other near Charles and sileana. star went up next and announced herself " i was a hunter of artemis, my name was Zoë nightshade". she sat next to a smiling moon goddess, prophet went next but beta sensing his nervousness went with him. i smiled at the both of them, " we were traitors to the two different camps during each war. if it weren't for alpha and omega we would not have been able to redeem ourselves. my name is Luke castellan. this is Octavian." Luke said revealing who he was to the campers. there were very few people cheering till the team got up and stood next to them "we are a family each one of us protects the other we couldn't have asked for finer siblings." calypso said. Hermes and Apollo stood up and walked towards them. Apollo took Octavian's hand and brought him to the Apollo cabin kids and sat next to him smiling. Hermes slowly moved closer to Luke, as if afraid that Luke might still hate him. but much to everyone's surprised Luke had launched himself at Hermes and wrapped his arms around his father and kept apologizing for the war all those years ago. Hermes sobbed as he held his son, Luke's siblings launched themselves from their spots to hold their brother as well. it was nice to see them all happy. i looked at my brother and smiled. "are you not going to show us who you are?" I heard a camper call out. There were murmurs amongst them as they wondered. "no we already have we are alpha and omega the twin children of the primordial chaos. That is who we are." I said the smile falling from my face. "so you two are nothing more than cowards!" i watched the team whip towards the voice. i locked eyes with annabeth "no we are not cowards. we choose not to tell you who you what our father calls us when we are at home because we do not trust you" i growled Percy rested his hand on my shoulder. "it's not worth it trust me." He said frustrated I pushed him away and stormed out of the amphitheater. I sighed he was right and I knew it. They aren't worth getting angry. But that didn't stop me from getting mad at them. I could hear the demigods shouting about it. I pressed my hands to my ears trying to ignore them. thats when the other voices started.
