Olivia ran through the city. Lights flashed, cars honked, and she could smell the gasoline coming from them. The wind blew in her face as she avoided street signs and bus stops along the sidewalk. The events in her city simply started at midnight. There was no such thing as going to bed early. It was impossible to do even if you tried because the city was alive and awake at that time. Olivia was used to the craziness of the city by now. As people walked along the streets and laughed at the simple, stupid things together, Olivia ran. She ran until she reached the police department. She slowed down in front of the door, heavily breathing and out of breath. She gasped for air one last time before pushing the door open. The letter was still clutched in her hand.
"The Joker is not dead and I can prove it,"
