I worked with George for the rest of the week until Friday because we were getting ready to attend Oliver Wood's wedding. As I was making sure that all of my things were in order, Teddy barged in.
"Aunt Gianna, where are you going?"
"I'm going to a wedding in Scotland." I said.
"You're not getting married, are you?" He asked, I shook my head and chuckled.
"Oi, Gianna! I'm all packed." I heard George shouting from his room.
"I'll be there in a minute." I said. "Listen, kid. Make sure Howl's all happy while I'm away." Teddy nodded. "Give me a hug and a kiss. I'll see you on Sunday."
"See you later, Aunt Gianna. Have fun!" He said. "You better not get married." I chuckled and with that we went downstairs and George and I apparated to the hotel we were staying in. We decided to get there a bit earlier to avoid all the ruckus and pick our room. The idea of sharing a room with George hadn't really kicked in until we were at the hotel lobby waiting for the key to our room.
"Check-in's done." George said. "Want me to take these bags upstairs and you wait for me here or do you want to come with?"
"I'll go with you. I want to see the room." I said. We went to our floor, which was reserved for the wedding guests and looked for room 19. When we finally did find it, we entered to see a semi-nice bedroom with just one bed.
"I asked for separate beds." He said.
"Don't worry. We can work something out later." I said. "I'm starving." We exited the room only to bump into Angelina Johnson. She was just as startled as we were.
"George!" She managed to say. "Hello. It's nice to see you."
"Hey." George said. "Likewise."
"Yeah." She said. "You too, Gianna." I just smiled awkwardly. "So, you two are here together I presume?"
"Indeed." George said.
"I'm glad.." She said. "You make a lovely couple."
"We're not dating." George said and looked at me. "Not at all."
"Oh.. sorry. I just saw the single bed and assumed." She said.
"That's just a mistake. We're getting it fixed." I said.
"You're welcome to stay in my room if you can't." She said and smiled.
"Oh.. that won't be necessary." I said. I couldn't help it to be jealous. George frowned at me.
"Catch you later, Ang." He said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me away. We walked in silence to the lift and when inside he finally spoke up. "No need to be rude, she's just trying to help." I frowned at him and decided to say nothing. He looked at me angrily. "Real mature, sweetheart." The elevator stopped and we walked out.
"George Weasley!" I heard someone say. We turned around to see a girl. George's face lightened up as he saw her.
"Nat!" He shouted and went up to her and hugged her. Nat?
"Looking good as always, kid." She said.
"As do you. How's the husband-to-be?" He asked. That must be the bride. She's gorgeous.
"Well, you know Oliver. He's helping his family settle and when he's done the lads are planning to go play quidditch so you should definitely come." She said.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world considering I missed the bachelor party." He said. She chuckled.
"I'm a little more curious of your lady friend here." She said. Her attention shifted to me now. "Call me Nat. I'm the bride."
"I'm Gianna. Nice to meet you and congratulations on the wedding."
"Adorable. Didn't know you were back in the dating game, Weasley." Nat said. George looked at me.
"Her? Nah, she's a-"
"Close-Enough-Malfoy." Oliver Wood said as he approached us. "Glad you could come." I smiled at him.
"Yeah, she's Malfoy's cousin." George said. "She's Harry's godson's kind of aunt." I nodded. "Like my mum says, the more the merrier I guess." They chuckled.
"Cmon, Weasley! Let's play quidditch. There's a pitch extremely close from here." Oliver said.
"I'm sorry, we were going to grab a bite." George said. "Maybe next time."
"George, it's alright. You can go." I said. "I'm good eating alone."
"You sure?" He asked. I nodded.
"It's settled." Nat said. "Have you guys, by any chance, seen Angelina?" I nodded.
"She was up in our floor before we came down." I said. "Why?"
"I need my maid of honour, of course." She said. "Let me find her and we can go play quidditch!" She grabbed Oliver's arm and dragged him away. "Wait for us here, Weasley."
"I didn't know Nat and Angelina were such good friends." I said.
"Nat was in the Gryffindor Quidditch team so.."
"Oh." I said. "I'll go now. Have fun. See you later." I said as I kissed his cheek.
"I won't be too long. This is a semi-muggle hotel so we could watch that movie you're always talking about." He said. I nodded and walked away to try and find somewhere to eat.
A/N: For the wedding, they'll be a few more chapters. It's a long one so strap in.
