I took a few days off from work because I really didn't want to confront George after that weird thing with Angelina. I sent him an owl saying I was ill and he had no trouble letting me off for the week thankfully. I spent the rest of my time reading or attempting to train Howl until Andromeda finished schooling Teddy, then we'd go out and I'd let him play with Howl.

"Gianna, will you please come in and bake a few things for the vist?" Andromeda said.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"The Weasleys are coming for a while to visit Teddy with Harry." She said. Oh no.

"Who's coming?" I casually asked.

"Molly, Ron, Ginny, George probably." She said. "They're bringing Victoire." Oh no. I hated being a hostess and I really really didn't want to see George. I went to the kitchen and charmed the pots and oven to bake brownies and pie. I was a horrible cook so I really couldn't help much.

"Are they coming soon?" I asked.

"Probably in the next half hour." She said. I freshened up and put a vinyl on for stress-relief. I heard Andromeda opening the door. What would I do now that I didn't have Draco?

"Gianna! Come here and greet our guests." Andromeda said. I reluctantly exited my room and went over to them.

"Hey." I said. They casually greeted me although I'm pretty sure George saw right through me and knew that I felt awkward about the night of the Angelina situation.

"Godfather!" Teddy said whilst running over to Harry. I chuckled. Sounds so weird. He shifted his attention to Victoire who was holding onto Mrs. Weasley's robes.
"Hi, Victoire. Do you want to see my dinosaur collection?" She nodded and they left to Teddy's room.

"So you're ill?" Ron asked me.

"I've had time to recover." I said. "Brownie?" I shoved the tray of brownies into his hands. "Andromeda, I forgot to cast the invisibility charm on Howl so I'm going to get to that." Perfect excuse to get out of that.

"I'll help." George said. I glared at him as he opened the door. We walked in silence to the stables. Until midway he spoke up.

"Hm.. I thought you'd sass me by now." George said. "Not one for breaking the ice?"

"You asked to come, you break it." I said.

"I already broke it." He said and chuckled. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile.

"You're lucky your mum was there. I'd hex you if she weren't." I said.

"Oh. You're all talk, Gianna." He teased.

"Shut up, Weasley." I said as we entered the stables. "Bow." We both bowed and Howl did so as well.

"Why are you avoiding me?" George asked all of sudden. Oh no.

"I'm not.. kind of. It's not just you."

"And I thought you could handle blood traitors." He said jokingly. I laughed sarcastically.

"Will you please shut up?" I said. "I can't concentrate." I closed my eyes and started conjuring the invisibility charm.

"Do I make you nervous?" He said laughing.

"No, you make me annoyed." I answered.

"Do you hate us?"

"Not at all." I said. "But after the first impression I made with your family when I went for lunch I'm not too eager."

"Yeah, you fucked up that day." He said. I chuckled.

"Thanks."

"I'll put in a good word for you." He said. I chuckled and smiled pretty sheepishly.

"How could I ever repay you?" I said sarcastically.

"You could let me pay you for the work you do at the shop." He said.

"George, I really don't need it." I said. "Drop it. I don't even work that hard, I've taken every free day that I could." He chuckled.

"That is true." He said. "More money for me." I laughed.

"Piss off." I said.

"Hey. I could fire you for that." He said.

"Have I damaged your ego?" I teased. He laughed "We should get going. I don't want them to think I'm actually avoiding them."

"Gianna." He said. "You're nice."

"What?"

"You're nice."

"Why?"

"I thought you would be stuck up and a bitch." He said. "But you're very nice." I awkwardly smiled.

"Don't judge a book by its cover, George." I said and started walking not wanting to continue this. I'm painfully awkward in most interactions but when I get complimented I shut down. We returned to Andromeda's house to see everyone sitting on the balcony eating. I stood on the threshold for the balcony, all eyes on us.

"What took you so long?" Ron asked.

"I couldn't concentrate on the spell due to George's awful jokes." I said. George laughed and put a hand on my back, slightly pushing me towards the balcony.

"Aunt Gianna." Said Teddy. "Are you dating Uncle George now?" He smirked. I glared at him.

"In his dreams." I said. Some of them laughed, others took it a bit seriously.

"She's too fancy for me." George said. I laughed.

"Nah." I said. "We're not dating, at all. One does not date coworkers. Especially their bosses."

"Good." Teddy said. We laughed. Good? Really?
