~Toni
The dungeons gave me shudders. The stories I had heard about dungeons of packs were not true. I had heard told of a horrible dark place where light could not get in. Truthfully, it was a horrid place. The wolves in there were kept behind silver bars (which would hurt if anyone touched them) and the cells weren't the cleanest. However, there were a couple of windows and some lights down there. It wasn't as bad as I expected but I was still glad to have Max there with me.
Walking down, my dad led us to a young wolf that was chained to the far cell wall. Her hair, grey with blue ends, was knotted. She couldn't be much older than me and I felt pity for her, I didn't know why, but I did.
"Alpha Max and Luna Toni," she whispered "I- I am sorry."
I looked to Max but he had put his Alpha mask on.
"What is your name?" Max asked in a stern voice.
"Daisy Hawthorn, sir."
"How did you come to be apart of the rogue pack?"
"My father was exiled from my pack and I was told if I went then I wouldn't be welcomed back into me pack. Dad was the only family I knew, so I went. I found his body, mauled by rogues but then I found my mate with the rogues. At first, I couldn't forgive them for what they did to my dad but I couldn't stay mad at mate." She looked down.
"Why did you forgive the rogues and join them?"
"I never forgave them. I just couldn't be away from my mate." Daisy looked down, almost crying.
"Daisy, why did you want to talk to us?" I stepped forward.
"I wanted to warn you. My mate is not dead, I can feel him and I know for sure that he isn't in here. He was the leader of the rogues. He will be coming back. There is one thing though. I must warn you. He will fight until you or him are dead. He will carry on fighting until you have no heirs. If you have any chance of having an heir, protect it. Hide it. Don't let him know that there is an heir for him to kill."
"Is that everything?" Max asked.
"Yes, Alpha."
"Thank you, Daisy. You have been very helpful. It will be considered."
With that, we left the dungeons. Max held my hand all the way and the we walked straight into his office, closing the door after us. Max went and sat in his chair and I sat on the actual desk. We sat in silence for a while and I subconsciously looked at my stomach.
"What if it comes to a fight?" I whispered. Max grabbed my hand.
"Then we will fight. We will protect the pack."
"What will we do with her? She was helpful."
"We will be killing the rogues, you know that. We will give her the option. Staying in the dungeons and when we see fit, let her join the pack or get killed with the rest of the rogues."
"She will obviously choose the first one."
"We will still give her the choice."
Suddenly a knock interrupted us. I span around to see the door and Max walked over to open it.
"Alpha, I was just here to tell the Luna that her brother and his partner has arrived." A wolf ,I hadn't yet found out the name, of was at the door. I looked up in excitement as I heard that Ricky and Mia had arrived.
"See you later." I kissed Max on the cheek and went to leave. Max then grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
"You missed." He smiled. I kissed him on the lips and then left.
Walking out, I saw my mum walking outside. I followed her and then saw Ricky helping Mia out of the car. I looked up to see my her with a small bump forming. Smiling at the couple, I walked down to meet them.
"Ricky!"
"Toni!"
I jumped into his arms and hugged him. After pulling away from him, I hugged Mia.
"Well, luck at you." I said to her and then turned to Ricky. "You better be treating her right."
"He is doing just fine. I can't even make my own food." Mia laughed.
"Ask him for massages. Take advantage of this." I whispered and caused her to laugh again.
Ricky and Mia were staying in a little cottage that had room for a family. I walked in and showed them their new home. After Mia and I watched Ricky and dad bring everything in, I took her to mine so she could see the girls. Roxy hugged her before we introduced her to Ruby and Lizzie. Seeming as Richard was better, Lizzie had agreed to actually leave the hospital. Ruby and I had forced her to take a shower and sleep in her own bed and now she was spending some time with us.
"So, what's this Max like?" Mia asked as she sat down after being introduced to the other two.
"He is amazing, I just love him so much." I smiled feeling my face warm up.
"Aw! Look girls, she's blushing." Lizzie laughed.
"I'll give you something to laugh about." I grinned slyly and grabbed a glass of water and chucked it at her.
"Oh you are on, Hatfield."
"Bring it Newcombe."
Lizzie chucked some water back at me but I ducked just in time. Unfortunately, I was in front of Roxy who got the water to her face. Roxy then chucked her water at Lizzie however Roxy had rubbish aim and the water hit Ruby's chest.
"WATER FIGHT!" Ruby shouted and we ran outside. In the yard, the sisters gave all of us, apart from Mia, massive water guns and we filled them all up. Suddenly, water was being sprayed out of the guns and we were soaking. I pulled back Roxy's top and shot water down her back, causing her to squeal. The noise must have caught Max's attention because he came out of the house, unaware to us girls. Lizzie shot water straight at my face to which I went to get her back as she stopped in front of Max. As I hit the water gun trigger, she moved and the water drenched Max.
"Oh you are on!" He snatched Ruby's water gun and chased me. For once, we were all just acting like normal teenagers. Not ones who had a lot of power. Not ones that had worries. Not ones that had a war coming towards them quickly.
