Sleep. Sleep is a magical thing. I could only wish I could get some. Between movement from the pup and worry about the rogues, I could only dream of sleeping. Max worried that I wasn't sleeping much and was also anxious. Due to either illness or me sleeping, I had missed a scan my for the pup. I was taking care of Bailey a lot because Mia had become infected after his birth. Ricky was with Mia most days and so was the pack doctor. I wouldn't accept the scan while my sister-in-law was extremely ill. Bailey was an angel though so I couldn't complain about him. I could complain about his dad however. Ricky could hardly look his son in the eyes, blaming him for what was happening to Mia. Until she was out of the hospital, Ricky wouldn't accept him. It was hard juggling my nephew and job as Luna while meeting the demands of being pregnant . Max, however, said he had it harder juggling his godson and job as Alpha while meeting the demands of his pregnant mate. Long story short, it resulted in Ruby knocking our heads together and telling us that we both had it hard and we had to stop arguing.

The day we arranged to have the scan, I was nervous. I had put it off for so long and now, after agreeing to go, I was thinking about once again pulling out. Handing Bailey over to dad, my mum could tell that something was wrong. She took me aside into a different room and looked me in the eye.

"This scan is bothering you, isn't it?" She held my hand.

"It isn't like we haven't been through this before, I mean we had a scan to make sure I was pregnant and everything, but...."

"Don't worry love. I was exactly the same with my first pregnancy, worried about every little thing but it was fine. Your brother turned out fine didn't he?"

"Apart from being an absolute idiot right now, yeah, he turned out fine." I said sarcastically.

"He is going through a hard time right now. How would you feel if it was Max laying in hospital extremely ill?"

"I would feel like he is, I would guess. But if I was a parent, like he is, I wouldn't turn my back on my child!"

"He....he was turned his back on Bailey?" Mum was confused.

"Hasn't seen him since Mia became infected. Ricky blames Bailey for what has happened." I looked at the floor.

"I will talk to him. He needs to understand that Mia isn't the only one who is reliant on him right now. He needs to think of his son. What if......what if something happens to Mia?"

"Mum you can't talk like that." I then looked at the clock. "Right, I have to go. Love you, mum."

"Love you too, sweetie."

After I had hugged my parents and kissed Bailey on the head, Max and I headed over to the hospital. As we walked in, we passed Ricky.

"Hey Ricky, how is-"

Ricky walked straight passed us and ignored our presence. Max put an arm reassuringly around my shoulders and I automatically reached my hand up to hold onto his. He gave my hand a squeeze as we sat down on the waiting seats. I watched the clock tick by, waiting for the doctor to come. Surprisingly, Daisy arrived with Doctor Plues with her. The doctor looked at the clock and smiled at us.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I am currently needed with my other patient and tried to get here as soon as I could. If it is ok with you, Alpha and Luna, Doctor Hawthorn here can carry out the scan." She smiled at us and we smiled back.

"Of course that is fine." The pack doctor then left us and I turned to Daisy. "Doctor Hawthorn? Has a catchy ring to it. Bet you could catch some boys with that. There are plenty of un-mated who would love a girl in uniform." I smiled and she laughed.

"Well come on, Alpha, Luna, let's get on with the scan."

We walked into the room and I laid down on the bed. Max sat down on a chair beside me and held my hand.

"Everything fine with the pup then?"

"If you include using my stomach as a football then sure." I laughed.

"Right then, roll up your top and we can have a look. I know you are behind on this scan because of everything that as happened so let's just make sure everything is as it should be." Daisy smiled and squeezed the cold gel onto my stomach.

At first, I couldn't look at the screen. Holding onto Max's hand, I looked into his eyes as he looked at me. His eyes showed me that we loved me and the pup and he would go to the ends of the earth for us.

"So, there we are. The little pup. Everything seems just fine. Would you like to know the gender?

I looked at Max and he looked at me. We had talked about this. Did we want to know the gender? Did we not? We had decided to leave it as a surprise and not find out. We knew that sometimes the doctors could get it wrong and we didn't want to find out that our pup was one gender and then it arrive another. We would love the little wolf, whatever the gender, just the same when it finally arrived.

"It is perfectly fine that you don't want to know. Lots of people decide the same as you. Now would you like a- oh look, the little one's moving and.....oh."

I looked up, startled. "What? What is wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong, Luna. But I think congratulations is in order." Daisy smiled.

"We got all our congratulations when we announced the pregnancy." Max said, slightly confused.

"No, Alpha. I believe congratulations are in order because you aren't just having a pup."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Luna, you are carrying twins."

I released the breath that I didn't realise I was holding as my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't stop smiling as Daisy wiped the gel off my stomach and as soon as I could, I hugged Max. We already had our hands full with Bailey and we were going to have two little ones around.

A/N- I would just like to say thanks to @nae022 for giving me the idea of having twins and thank you for all the votes and comments.
