Namjoon had been thinking a lot of things lately, aside from the band's growing success, he couldn't stop thinking about Jin. It was as if he wanted to be as close to him as possible, even though they already were. They owned an apartment together for when they didn't need to sleep at the dorm, and they shared a room within the dorm. They pretty much saw each other every day and night because of the group, but Namjoon still wanted more. He came to a conclusion of what his feelings must mean, and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to seek help from the other members. That chance seemed to be right about now...
"Joonie? I need to go out for a second, we don't have any mixed herbs and I need them for this meat, can you just watch the pots for a few minutes?" Jin asked, despite the fact that Namjoon had literally set something on fire when using the stove before. "Sure, be careful" he pecked his lips and ruffled his hair before Jin laughed, running off to get his shoes near the door. "Be back in a bit" he called out, accidentally slamming the door as he jogged off towards his car. "Where's Jin gone?" Yoongi asked, nonchalantly munching on some cereal, "To get some herbs or something, but can we talk for a second?" Namjoon asked nervously as the other members suddenly became aware of their conversation too.
"What's this about then?" Hoseok questioned, standing where everyone else was also called to; in the kitchen. "Well um, I was kind of wondering if you guys could help me?" it was meant to be a statement, but it came out as more of a doubtful question. "What's wrong?" Jimin furrowed his eyebrows, "Nothing's wrong, I just need advice..." Everyone stood around, waiting for him to just say it already. "Well?-" "I want to marry Jin hyung" he blushed, saying it more bluntly than he had meant to. "Well it's about time" Hoseok laughed, patting him on the back.
"What?" "You've been dating for nearly 10 years now, that's like... Forever!" Tae said, doing dramatic facial expressions. "Well I guess... I just figured we were too young, but I really want to now" he said firmly, leaning back when he remembered the stove was there, so he stirred the pots that were gently heating. "How are you going to do it?" Yoongi asked whilst shifting the hair out of his eyes. "That's what I'm asking you guys, I really have no idea" he frowned, he really had been trying to think of ideas lately, but kept coming to dead ends. "Well like I said, it's been nearly 10 years... So do it on your 10th anniversary! It's such an even number too!" Hoseok clapped his hands.
"Plus, let's say you take him somewhere special for it, he won't be any wiser since it'll be your anniversary, and if you get caught planning anything you can say it's just for that" Yoongi added, Namjoon nodding in agreement. "You think I should take him somewhere special then? Like really fancy?" Jin had always been a fan of formal, posh things afterall. "It wouldn't really make it special though if it was just a fancy dinner somewhere expensive... You should make it memorable" Jungkook suggested, of course the Maknae would have a smarter idea. "Like what?" "Not sure... Is there any where in the world he's always wanted to go?" Namjoon looked at Jungkook kind of shocked, "I don't have the money for that... But if I did it on our anniversary it would be around Christmas...".
"Take him for a winter vacation somewhere really snowy!" Tae smiled wide, his arms raised at his own brilliant suggestion. "That could work..." Namjoon contemplated, thinking of where they could go. "Rent a cabin somewhere or something" Yoongi shrugged his tired shoulders. "That sounds good... But when I do it, do I just go on one knee? Or... hide the ring somewhere or... What?" the leader sighed, there would be so much to plan in order to make it perfect for his precious Jin.
"Don't worry, we'll help you with that later on, you'll need to choose a ring too right?" Yoongi asked, everyone allowing him to be the one to go with Namjoon to pick it out. "Thanks guys, I really appreciate it" he smiled, turning down the heat on the stove slightly as one of the pans of water began to bubble over. "Anytime", "Omo, this is so exciting!" Hoseok chimed in, slightly picking up Namjoon up off the floor and spinning him around. Cue the front door to click open.
"What's going on?" Jin chuckled, seeing Namjoon embarrassed as he was slung over Hoseok's shoulder. "Namjoon is just the best! He said he misses you already" Hoseok made kissy faces to emphasise his lie, putting Namjoon down so he could hide his face in shame. "Well aren't you sweet" Jin giggled, placing a quick kiss to his lips. The effect didn't last for long though as he was soon yelling: "Namjoon! Why did you turn off the oven??", breaking up the nice moment. "Sorry" he smiled, man I love him so much.
