I quickly rushed into the bathroom and desperately tried to comb my hair down. "Yuichiro the bus is gonna be here any minute now!!" Yoichi called from downstairs. I groaned loudly and put gel in my hair to make it stick down. Mika came in just as I started brushing my teeth. "So why exactly did we wake up and get dressed so early?" He asked, confused. I finished that and ran back into my room to grab my jacket. "We're going to school." I said, slipping my jacket on and putting my laptop into my bag. "School? But I already finished that" he said, handing me my phone. "You already finished school??"

"I'm 22 Yu."

"Oh, yeah. I forgot."

He rolled his eyes and I ran downstairs. "I made breakfast already. It's on the counter. Come on! The bus is here!" Yoichi said and opened the door quickly. I grabbed the toast and shoved it in my mouth and grabbed Mika's hand just as he came down the stairs. I don't know who was more confused: Mika or the bus driver as we boarded. I sat down and exhaled deeply as Mika sat next to me, Yoichi across from us. "Next time, let's use my alarm." Yoichi said and closed his eyes. "Look I don't usually get up till about 8:45 or so. It's not my fault." I said, sighing. I felt Mika grab my hand as I rested my head on his shoulder. I pulled my phone out and checked my notifications as we made our way to school. "By the way Mika, you said you can speak Russian, right?" I asked, one earbud in my ear, the other in his ear. "Yes I can, why?"

"We're gonna need you to speak Russian today. Remember, I told Shinya and Shinoa you were a Russian exchange student. So, you'll have to pretend you don't speak that much Japanese." I said. "I'll see what I can do." He said as the bus slowly stopped at school. I grabbed my bag and helped Mika stand up as we walked off inside. Man, it's been forever since I was in a school. Mika stood really close as we walked around. People kept staring at me and whispering. "Yu-San! You're here!" I heard Shinia call. I turned and saw her by a locker, waving. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "I gotta head to class. See ya in a minute Yuichiro!" Yoichi called and ran upstairs. "Bye Yoichi!" I called back and started walking towards Shinoa. I saw Shinya walk towards her as well as Mikaela grabbed onto my arm, nervous. Shinoa's eyes widened as she saw Mika. "Mikaela, are you going to school here??" She asked, excited. He stood there, trying to figure out what to say. "No, he's not. Yoichi and I were just gonna show him around."

"UGH YOURE NO FUN YU-SAN!!!!" Shinoa yelled, pouting. I'm pretty sure I heard Shinya snicker but he immediately stopped when she glared at him. She sighed and looked over at Mika. "So you're only staying for today?" She asked, moving towards him slyly. He moved closer to me, still nervous. "Y-yes." He said quietly, adding a little bit of an accent to his voice.

He's pretty good at this.

She sighed happily. "Your voice sounds like an Angels.." She said, romantically.

"Ok I think it's time to get you to class." Shinya said before I could and pulled her back. I looked over at him and he mouthed, "you're welcome." I nodded my head as they slowly walked away. I looked at the clock and sighed. "Come on. We gotta get to class." I said and started to head upstairs, Mika following close behind. "Why are there so many stairs in the human world?" He asked, quietly. "I don't really know but I'm not the person to judge." I said as I opened he door and walked inside. Immediately, everyone's eyes turned towards Mika and I. "Yuichiro! You've come back?" The teacher said, Mrs. Sayuri I think her name was. "Just for today." I said, putting my bag down at a chair in the back. Before Mika could follow me, she grabbed his arm. "You're new right?" She asked, smiling. He completely froze when she talked to him. She looked at him, confused. "Come introduce yourself to the class."

That's where I started to panic. "U-uh he doesn't know how to speak Japanese." I said, standing up and walking to the front of the class. She looked over at me. "He doesn't?" She asked. I nodded my head and looked at Mika. He was still frozen in fear almost. I forgot he's never been touched by another human other then me. I wrapped my arm around him and broke him out of his gaze. "This is Mikaela. He just moved here from Russia. I'm trying to teach him Japanese." I said, smiling slightly. She smiled softly and stood back. "Can you write your name on the board?" She said, handing him a peice of chalk. His gaze returned to me, confused on what he should do next. "Write it in Russian and Japanese." I whispered in his ear. He nodded his head and took a deep breath, then took the chalk carefully. His hand gracefully moved across the board as he first wrote his name in Russian. Turns out that he's left handed. Who would've known?
