"I could do something worse, like dare you to kiss me."
Betty didn't know where they were going. From the looks of it this place was not visited by many people, but Betty was not surprised. It did look like a place where a bad boy would hang out. The amount of crumbling bricks on the ground made her cautious. Betty stepped on the sandy ground and almost slipped.
"Careful," Jughead lifted his hand up for her to take it.
Rejecting it Betty smiled proudly, "I am perfectly fine."
"Whatever you say," he smirked watching her struggle through the piles of dirt and sand.
Jughead took her to the old cinema drive in, the only place in Riverdale that only animals dared visit, aside from the occasional Serpents gang. It was going to be brought down soon by the Andrews company to replace it with something else, perhaps a small town shopping center. Betty could clearly see that the place meant something to Jughead, but he tried very hard to conceal it. They got to the stage area where there would be movies on the big screen at night and couples from every corner of the town would come to steal kisses from each other and watch some old movies.
"I don't think I've ever been here," Betty looked around at the abandoned place.
Jughead looked at her, "seriously? Are your parents insane!? This is a classic place to take your kids to!"
"Or take a girl on a date night if you're a horny teenager," Betty sighed, "anything potentially dangerous my mother stays away from."
"Why are you so negative about love, isn't that my job? You're the perfect Betty Cooper, I thought you'd be a huge romantic." Jughead took a white covering off a red car that stood in the middle of the cinema parking lot.
Betty looked at him, "I'm not negative about love! I'm just kind of done with it."
"Oh poor Betty always has been in love with a boy who didn't give a single crap about her," he got mad for some reason.
"No one asked for your opinion!" Betty raised her voice, she didn't want to talk about her apparent love for Archie.
Jughead shook his head, "fine, I'll shut up, get in." He opened the car door and held it for her. She was skeptical, but got in after a few seconds of staring at him.
"What are we doing here?" Betty asked as she watched him cross over to the other side and get into the drivers seat.
Jughead smirked, "we're going to play truth or dare." Oh great, Betty thought, a game that her mother would never permit her to play with anyone let alone a boy with tattoos and a bad attitude.

Mrs. Cooper was worried. It was already 4 o'clock and Betty was still not home. School ended at 3 and Mrs. Cooper calculated exactly how much time it would take for Betty to talk to the coach and get on the bus. As her husband walked through the door she rushed to his side.
"She's gone. Betty is late. We need to call the police," taking her phone from her pocket she proceeded to unlock it.
Grabbing his wife by the hands Mr. Cooper laughed out, "honey relax, she's just a little bit late. Betty is a good girl and she will come back home as soon as she can. You know that. We raised her that way." Mr. Cooper was a bit worried himself, he didn't want anything bad to happen to his perfect little girl.
Hal Cooper was the co-owner of the Andrews company that was involved in building new places in their small town. He was usually in charge of the financials while Mr. Andrews was doing the labor part of the work. Hal decided to change his direction and ran for Mayor, Mr. Andrews supported his decision all the way. The Andrews and Coopers have been close ever since their high school years. Their children were destined to be together even before they were born. The Coopers were planning to make Betty marry Archie when the time came to it, and the Andrews seemed on board with it as well. Nothing was going to change their minds.
