Numbers Never End

Chapter 13

- Kageyama's P.O.V -

When I awoke I found the side that Hinata was sleeping on stone cold. When my brain started to think dark things I head laughter coming from downstairs, "He must be downstairs with the others, what time even is it?" Yawning I began to get dressed.

Making my way downstairs I found Hinata sitting crossed leg on a chair drinking something that was either tea or coffee. But was most noticable was the bags that contrasted against his pale face, "Hinata, what time did you wake up?" 

"3:42..." Hinata mumbled, taking a sip of his drink, "I had to clean up the mess that the party-goers made last night and I had to make breakfast for everyone." 

"Wow Hinata..." I just stared at him in disbelief, he has does so much for us, "Thank you!"

I watched Hinata quickly get flustered and excuse himself to go put his dish in the sink. As he past me he mumbled something so that only I could here, "Y-Your welcome..." 

"Man, it feels like having a maid, someone who cooks and cleans for you. Heck, I bet that he's a pushover to, just pressure him a bit and he'll do anything for you!" I heard Tsuki scoff. 

"Tsuki! How dare you say something like that to a teammate?!?" I heard both Yamaguchi and Suga start to scold him, "He's just being helpful because we all drunk to much last night and now we're all hungover! You should be thankful!" 

"Jeez, I was just teasing him." Tsuki scoffed once again and pushed up his glasses.

Angry at Tuski's comment, I went into the kitchen to find Hinata clenching his fists against the sink, his knuckles turning white, "Hinata? Are you okay?" I walked up to him and rested my chin on his head.

When he realized that I was right behind him he cheerful demeanor quickly came back, "I'm fine! You ready to go out?"

I just kissed his head in response and went to go put my shoes on.

"Hey Kageyama, do you think that I'm a 'maid like pushover'...? I-I was just trying to help..." Hinata played with the cuff of his sleeve.

Crap, he heard what Tsuki said, "I would never think that, Tsuki was just being a jerk, he still and always will be one. But if you ask me, I think you would look pretty nice in a maid's outfit."

I looked down to see Hinata's flustered face, "Y-You're such a pervert Kageyama..."

I smiled and grabbed his hand which was small compared to mine, "Come on Hinata, I have this cool cafe that I want to show you!"

"Where is it...?" Hinata's eyes where shinning as we walked on the sidewalk.

Once again I just smiled, "It's a secret but I will tell you that it's a small cafe but I think you might like it!"

Upon arrival I noticed Kuroo working at the register with someone shorter than him with long blond hair that you could tell that it was dyed because of his black roots where showing.

"Hey Kuroo, how are you doing today? Who's this by the way?" I nodded, gesturing to the male who looked like he was is a daze. 

"I'm fine Kageyama and I could be asking you the same to you Did you finally get yourself a man?" Kuroo noticed Hinata who peeked around me.

"K-Kenma?" Hinata asked, his eyes widening.

"Shouyou?" The male called Kenma broke out of his daze and his eyes widened, just like Hinata's.

"Is this your boyfriend that you have been telling me about?" Hinata looked at Kuroo and back at Kenma, "I thought you loved video games more then people!"

Kenma sighed and nodded, "Yes, this is my idiotic boyfriend." 

"What?!? You guys already know eachother?!?" Both me and Kuroo looked at eachother with surprise clearly written across our faces. 

"And I'm idiotic?!?" Kuroo looked at Kenma with sadness, "But you love me and I love you." 

"Oh yea... We meet on an online game. But Hinata..." Kenma's eyes scanned over Hinata's body, "Is it still going on or has it finally stopped? And yes Kuroo, I love you but honestly you make idiotic decisions. 

What was Kenma talking about? Does he know that Hinata cuts or is it something deeper that only Kenma knows...

Hinata laughed at Kenma's words but he got quiet for a second then he nodded, "I-I'll tell you later..."

With a few moments of awkward silence Kuroo finally broke it, "Now, what can we get you two love-birds?"

I watched Hinata's ears turn a dark shade of red, "I'll just have a scone a-and tea please... K-Kenma should know what kind I like." 

"I'll have a muffin and black coffee please." I asked while handing Kuroo the money that I owned him.

"Okay! I'll send Kenma out to serve your food once it's ready!" Kuroo smiled and waved us away, signalling us to go sit down. 

I smiled in return and then pulled Hinata in a booth in the far corner, "Hinata, what were you and Kenma talking about earlier?" 

Hinata was silent for a second before answering, "I'll tell you later tonight. T-This might be off topic but what do you think I should make for dinner tonight...? I'm sick and tired of having take-out and pizza every night, I want real food."

I smiled softly, "Hmm... Maybe roasted chick and potatoes. I'll help you if you need it."

I saw a smile play at Hinata's lips, "That sounds fun, with that settled, after breakfast we should go buy some ingredients for it, but I think it will be fun to cook with you Kageyama." 

I smiled in return, I love Hinata so much. I love his smile, his eyes, I just love everything. He may do some dark things to himself but I love him for everything. He is and always will be my sunshine. 

"Kageyama!" Hinata snapped me back to reality by waving his hand in front of my eyes, "You fell into a daze, are you alright?" 

I just smiled again, "I'm fine Hinata. I was just thinking about how much I love you"
