- Hinata's P.O.V -

When I arrived back at home with a heavy messenger bag filled to the brim, almost over flowing with work. When I entered the house I found Kageyama leaning up against the kitchen island, "Kageyama, what's wrong?"

"Nothing! Just got get changed! How could you forget that today we have volleyball practice? I told you this morning!" Kageyama exclaimed, shooing me away gesturing me upstairs so that I could go get changed out of my clothes and into clothes that would make it easier to practice in, "Go hurry up!"

"Oh right...! How could I forget, it was the only thing on my mind the whole day!" I mumbled to myself but loud enough so that Kageyama could hear me. When I got upstairs and in the safety of our room I stared at my clothing options. I could possibly wear a tee shirt and shorts but at the risk of showing my scars. Or I could wear pants, a long sleeve shirt and a sweatshirt but also risk of getting questioned on why I was wearing such covering clothing when we're going to be practicing. Finally after a few minutes I settled with basketball shorts that usually are supposed to go to ones lower thigh but considering I was short and they were a little bigger on me they went down below my knee which was perfectly fine. I was wearing a thin long sleeve shirt cause to be honest that is really all I own, of course I wouldn't leave anywhere without my sweatshirt and some gauze that's covering from my wrist all the way to my elbow.

"Hinata are you done yet?" Kageyama banged on the bedroom door which I of course locked, exactly how long was I in here trying to figure out what to wear? I'm turning into my younger sister, "We need to go now! Everyone is waiting for us!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming...!" I called back I as I unlocked the door. Once I opened the door I felt Kageyma's eyes glance over my outfit which I was going to practice in but he made no comment.

"Uhh... Hinata, won't you be hot in that..?" Asashi asked me ad I appeared downstairs. I knew that he meant well and wasn't trying to hurt my feelings. He was just worried about me.

I gave him one of my signature fake smiles to reassure him that everything will be fine, "Thank you for your concern Asashi, but I think I shall be fine!"

Even though Suga looked worried towards my outfit he was nothing like Kageyama and handed me a water bottle, "Lets go then! I'm excited to see you play!"

After a few minutes of warm up, everyone started to play a game, but with me there was an odd number so I volunteered to sit out, not just because I knew that everyone was good at playing, better then me, and there was the fact that they knew each other a little longer than I have and their moves but I wanted to see how they played, I wanted to learn their moves so that I can as well can catch up to them.

Half way through the practice game Noya came up to me, practically vibrating with excitement, "You should play in the second half! I wanna see you play! I can sit out so that you can play!"

"I-I don't think I should." I managed to stutter out, "I'm fine with watching you guys play, your probably better than me..."

"That's a stupid reason! You haven't played at all and I, all of us want to see what you can do!" Noya took me by my shoulders and began to shake me lightly which made the whole gym spin and make me a little sick.

"Noya stop! If you keep shaking him like that he might get sick!" Suga made Noya stop the shaking and the spinning gym was soon to follow, "But Noya is right we are curious on what you can do. You aren't necessary bad at playing volleyball, you just have a different level then us, but with practice you can get better!"

I took a deep breath, a heavy weight appeared on my shoulders and on my chest which made it hard for me to breath, "Fine, I'll do it if it makes Noya sleep at night. B-But as I mentioned before, I-I don't think that I'm all that good at playing..."

"Hinata, that's okay! None of us are good at playing! As I said before we all have our different limits!" Suga smiled like a mother would when encouraging a child.

"Except the King over here," Tsuki pointed at Kageyama with a smirk plastered on his face, " He thinks that he's better than everyone in this whole team, claiming that he doesn't need anyone to play volleyball with."

"Shut up you sarcastic walking microphone stand!" Kageyama shouted at Tsuki as he began to get flustered. Cute, I never really saw him flustered.

I covered my mouth to smile and laugh while I watched the two bicker over something so stupid.

"What's so funny Hinata?" Daichi adverted his gaze from Tsuki and Kageyama fighting to me, "Do you mind telling me?"

Uncovering my mouth I smiled softly remember something, "It reminds me of somebody I used to know. Or rather I still know her, I just haven't seen her since I was in High School." Which was tru, it reminded me of my family, my mom and my little sister who's name is Natsu. I did have a father but he died when I was at a young age or that's what my mom told me and I do have a step-father but he's abusive towards Natsu and I. I hated him and he hated me just as much as I hated him. But whenever Natsu and I were at home and our step-dad was drinking we should have stupid fights that we that we would make up right after our fight. Once of my favourite fights that we had was back in my second year of High School and Natsu was just in her first year or Middle School, the thing that made us have the fight was the face that it was Natsu's first crush on someone.

"Natsu gotta a crush~!" I sang softly while she did her homework at the kitchen island.

Natsu's face turned a dark shade of red, "I-I do not!"

"I beg to differ my little sister, I see you writing his name over and over in your notebook." I said smirking pointing at her notebook page while she despretly tried to cover it with her arms, "It's okay Natsu, if he ever breaks yor heart, I'll have to beat him up myself!" I said as i flexed my skinny arms as a joke.

"You? You could barely take on a leaf!" Natsu laughed and there threw a paper ball at my forehead and it hit its mark which was smack dab the middle of my forehead.

"Oh you're on Natsu!" I yelled smiling as I thee the paper ball back at her.

When we all arrived home from volleyball practice the first thing I did was march upstairs to our room and fall asleep or at least close me eyes to try to sleep. Even though it wasn't that late , my body felt heavy, my head felt like I was swimming through thick water and my ears filled with cotton, making it hard to hear anything but in reality it was just muddled.

"Hey Hinata, you okay? Ever since practice you have been acting weirdly." Kageyama say sat down besides me and began to pet my hair.

"I'm fine. I just remembered something and I'm happy that I did." I turned my head and smiled feeling at peace though everything felt off, even if it was just the slightest.

"Kageyama had a scary look on his face as he flicked my forehead, "Dumb ass, Boke Hinata."

"O-ow...! What did I do?! That was rude and uncalled for!" It didn't really hurt, I was just complaining that my boyfriend, Kageyama flicked my forehead.

"That's for making me worry, I honestly thought something bad happened." Kageyama mumbled and kissed my forehead right where he flicked it.
