"And this is where it ends."

Where are you?

We're in a motel, Pullers Motel.

If someone asked me how I was feeling right now, I would tell them I don't know.

Standing in front of a dirty door, waiting for someone to open it, I would tell them I don't know what I'm doing because I didn't know. I didn't know if my friends really did kill that person, if Indigo was in the gang with them, if I was doing the right thing, I don't know. But I did know that I know. I know whatever they did and I hoped what they did wasn't true. It couldn't be true.

Just knowing the fact that the cops had pictures of Indigo and them had my anger boiling. Was it jealousy? Was it betrayal? Was it sadness? Was it disappointment? The only way to find out was to talk to them. The door opened and a hand appeared and grabbed my shirt, pulling me inside the room. I stumbled inside the room and turned around to see the door closed.

Junior leaned his back on the door and sighed. "Thank god, it's just you," he said breathlessly and rushed to hug me. I wanted to believe that him and Indigo wasn't friends before. I wanted to believe that Junior had nothing to do with The River Boy case. Junior bend a bit to place his chin on my shoulder and squeezed me, sighing loudly and holding me for a couple of seconds before he let go. "I know what you're thinking, we're fudge, but we got everything planned out. It may not sound promising but it's something."

I had to speak so nothing was out of the ordinary. "Okay, where are the others?" I asked.

Junior ran a hand through his hair. "They're in another room. It's connected to all of us. I'll take you there."

I followed Junior into another room and saw Piece and Dario sitting on a small couch, Pierce and Nixon were on the floor watching tv, and Kiel was on the bed, his back leaning on the wall and him staring at his phone. They looked up when the door hit the wall.

"What the fuck, Junior? You scared us!" Nixon shouted.

Pierce hit him on the shoulder. "Shut up before someone hears us," he said sternly.

"Jasper wanted to know where we were," Junior announced and leaned his shoulder on the wall.

"What happened? How the hell did the cops know where we were?" Dario said and groaned when he started to get up.

"You should sit down man, you're still bandaged up," Pierce said and got up to push him back slowly.

Dario groaned again and held the side of his stomach. "Damn it. We need more painkillers."

"You already took three today."

"How did you get here so fast?" Asher asked.

"I took a bus," I said quickly and looked at Pierce. Pierce had his eyes glued to Dario and I was surprised he hasn't looked at me yet. Every time I walked in the room he would look at me and smile or wave. It was mostly Junior, Pierce, and Kiel that would greet me and the others would take a while to greet me, not that I mind. He must have felt my eyes on him because he slowly looked up and stared at me. The intensity in his eyes was too much to handle. Mixed emotions filled his eyes that it was too hard to grasp.
