"Music effected us in ways they couldn't understand".

This chapter may not seem relevant as the story progresses but as the author of this book, I felt the need to share with you the ways that I feel like my characters were able to bond as a couple in this story. This chapter outlines one of the many things that Zayn and Perrie had in common and expresses their views upon the topic that I wish to discuss in this chapter. Enjoy.

I stared at my screen as the lyrics started to bond together without permission. They all made sense. The lyrics held a beauty that was indescribable making me wonder whether people really did look at the meaning, the words of a song before criticising it.

What I had thought about the song was that it was going to be amazing once Niall gave it life with beats. I read on to the lyrics until I reached the end, nodding my head in appreciation. This was music, real music.

Music to me wasn't something that I made money of, it wasn't that at all, it was something that completed me as an individual. It made me happy, inspired. It gave life to my character.

I was always known as someone who was quiet. Someone who would rather listen than speak. I often submerse myself in music, just kind of shutting the world around me. Just focusing on the beat of the music, the beautiful lyrics that connected so well. A message that was delivered through something as plain yet as heavenly as music.

The lyrics that I was currently reading made me just wish that I had that ability to write and build as well as Niall did. He has certain boundaries of confidence in him and sharing the music that he wrote was not in his list of confidences. Sometimes I wondered why he wasn't willing to share what he wrote but he never really told us. He wrote but he didn't share it with the world. He wasn't obliged to form an album out of what he wrote since for me music had no boundaries and sharing had none as well. He could share his work in any way he wanted yet he didn't.

He wrote whenever he found time which was not much lately since we did have busy schedules and after that a lot of other things to take care of. He was currently working on a song called Bitter, it was absolutely amazing. Maybe I liked it too much because it fit into the kind of genre that I listened and preferred but I had this way inside me and that was to analyse the lyrics and he did an exceptional job on it even though it wasn't yet complete but he mailed me the part that he had just finished.

I made a mental note of letting him know that I loved his piece whenever I saw him again and to encourage him to share his talent that was yet to discovered by a lot of people.

I ran a hand over my face, rubbing it, trying to stop myself from going to sleep. Instead, I grabbed onto my headphones and pushed them into my ears as I left the music bring me back to life.

I watched my pen forming another line yet it didn't fit. I repeated my action but with different words. I smiled as the words seemed to fit.
