Manik's POV

I was talking to cabir when suddenly I paused and was in a lala land because my girl was coming looking beautiful as always. She's so pretty & I am the luckiest guy on earth because I know she's mine doesn't matter she's not talking to me right now & I have messed up things but now I am not letting her go.

Push me as far you want but you are going to come back to me. I didn't know I was drooling while watching her until she came & closed my mouth. Oh.My.God that's so embarrassing. Keep yourself in check manik. Don't act like a love sick puppy.

We reached the club in no time & cabir asked us to dance but nandini refused & said that she will have some drinks. From when nandini started drinking. Strange.

I was dancing with cabir & navya when suddenly a girl came to me & started dancing with extreme proximity.

Cabir signed me through his eyes to see nandini & winked at me. I was confused & saw her with the corner of my eyes. She was literally throwing fire at me through her eyes. Her cheeks puffed with anger.

Wait, Is she jealous?

Am I enjoying her jealousy?
*Yes*
Is she looking cute with anger on her nose?
*hell yeah*

I am gonna thank this girl personally for making nandini feel like that.
Because itne dino se bas uski gaaliya hi khaa raha tha chalo kuch aur reaction bhi nikla.

In no time she made her way towards me & was trying really hard to walk straight. 

She pushed that girl off me with such a force that she stumbled back.

"Stay away from him you bimbo" nandini said angrily.

"And exactly why I should stay away from him. He's hot, handsome plus single" the girl said shamelessly.

She was really testing nandini's patience but who's complaining.

"Firstly you can't say he's single because he's with me & he's my man so any random Blondie bimbo cannot come to him & dance so close to him. Am.I.Clear." nandini shouted pointing her finger towards her.

Oh! My God have I heard it clear she said that I am her man.
Gsjsgskbdbdkd that's right my mind is like this right now because I am doing salsa, bhangra, contemporary.
She said I. Am. Her. Man.
That means I have my chances. Shit man I haven't been so happy in my entire life.

Nandini scared that poor soul & she ran away. But I needed to say thanks  to her personally. Well never mind.

Wait is nandini saying something. Oh I was so happy & busy talking to myself that I zoned out completely.

She was now poking my chest.

"You could have pushed her you idiot. What if she took an advantage of you. Agar tumhari izzat pe daag lag jaata toh, fir mere paas aate rote hue" she slurred.

Oh my gosh drunk nandini is so dayum cute. Trust me right now she's the most adorable creature on this earth.

"Nandini relax you are not in your senses right now. We will talk later." I said trying to pacify her.

"Excuse me I am in my senses & I know what I am doing so don't tell me what to do"

"Yeah right you are not drunk & I am varun dhawan" I said rolling my eyes.

"Shut up & don't joke around. I am your hero & I saved you from that girl, you should thank me but no you are scolding me" she said slapping my chest.

"Nandini" I said gritting my teeth & pinned her hands behind her.

"Leaveeeeeee meeeeee" she shouted. Geez my ears.

"Guys i will take nandini home & you can come later" I said.

"No we are also coming" navya said.

"Navya it's OK I got her you just enjoy yourself. I will take care of her" I said to navya & then she agreed.

"Nandini let's go home" I dragged her to the parking lot.

"Noooooo i won't come with you. Go & enjoy with that girl. Date her, get married & have kids I don't care & waise bhi why are you so concerned about me you toh don't even care about me na" she said almost cryingly.

I was too shocked to react. EXCUSE ME I was searching this mad woman for 5 damn years, beared her tantrums & anger. Made breakfast for her. I haven't even stepped in kitchen in my entire life but prepared food just for her & now she's accusing me that I don't care about her. Are you freaking kidding me.

"Nandini listen please let just go home then we will talk OK"

"You are so bad manik firstly you leave me, secondly you say mean things to me & thirdly you were dancing with that not so pretty girl" she said angrily & was about to fall but I held her waist.

Our faces were inches apart. I rubbed my nose with her.

"For now let's get you home sweetie" I whispered & picked her up in bridal style.
I made her sit in passenger's seat & ignited the engine & started driving.

She's unusually quite what's up with her. She's just staring out of the window. In the meantime we reached home & I opened the door for her. She quietly came out. We entered in but she was barely keeping up with her steps so I picked her up. She didn't objected but kept her head on my shoulders.

I reached her room & made her stand. "Go & change in the washroom. I am waiting outside."I said.

She didn't objected & changed her dress & came out. She lied on her bed without sulking. Alright that's it.

"Nandini what happened" I asked softly & sat beside her.

She didn't replied but was looking down continuously.

I held her chin & made her look at me.

"Tell me what's eating you" I again tried my luck.

"Manik you know what when you left me na I was so heart broken & I really tried to hate you but I wasn't able to. I really missed you, then suddenly after all these years I saw you & all that anger came back that's why I lashed it on you. I know somewhere it's my fault too & I really apologise for that but manik what if you leave me again, what if you too leave like my parents. I won't be able to survive" she said & was crying bitterly.

Oh! my baby. She is insecure. I hugged her tightly wishing to take her pain away.
I cupped her face & wiped her tears off. She stopped crying & was staring at me.

"I won't ever leave you ok. That was a mistake & an immature decision but now I am selfish enough to never let you go ever. I promise. Now sleep you must be tired." Her eyes were now so soft that I want to drown in them.

She obliged me & slept as soon her head hit the pillow. I kissed her forehead & left her room with a smile playing on my lips.
