Tsubaki Sawabe looked all around her new school. It was actually bigger than she thought. At the center was a big open dome where soccer players do practice. Beside it is the big stadium where baseball players practice. She walked on the corridor slowly as she smiled painfully. To her surprise, she bumped on someone and when she looked up, she's face to face to someone she liked when she was still in junior high. "S-Saito-senpai!"
Saito looked at her and a happy grin was placed on his lips. "So, you also were able to be here."
"Um... Yeah...," she told him. "I forgot that you also study here."
"Would you also want to join the baseball team?" he asked her.
Tsubaki Sawabe nodded happily. "I would!"
"I'm happy you're here," he told her.
Then, a beautiful girl went beside him and covered his right arm with her fair-skinned arms. She does have long, black hair that runs down up to her waist and also, she does have strikingly, beautiful, hazel eyes. "Who is she?"
Saito smiled and introduced Tsubaki to her, then, she introduced her to Tsubaki. "She's Yamamoto Iya. She's the girl I told you about."
Tsubaki Sawabe felt out of place. She felt like the world fell over her and everyone whom she cares about all disappeared from her. Even so, she took her hand to shake it. She knew that Saito wasn't really the right man for him.
....
Kousei slept for an hour with Princess Aquina by his side. She looked at him with shining eyes and held her chest. Whenever she's with him, she's falling for him, too. Even though she's falling in-love with him, she was actually hiding it from him. She fears that she might just be a substitute for Kaori and she doesn't want that. She wanted to be sure if Kousei truly likes her before she allows herself to become totally his.
She pitied Kousei after he spoke about the memories he finally retrieved a few months later. She went out for a while and that's when she was met by another freshman, Takeshi. How did she know about it? Even if she's young, she was able to ask some of her servants to do background checks on people she thinks were interesting.
"You're Princess Aquina, right?" Takeshi asked her. "I was inside the auditorium and sensei wanted to know how he is, already."
He knows him but he actually took that responsibility to know the truth behind the rumors that Kousei is suffering from retrograde amnesia. "Is he... really an amnesiac?"
Aquina lost her smile. "He's fine. It is true that he lost many of his memories but he doesn't let that condition stop him. My father told me that I should help him live the life he should have had long ago. He only remembered vague pieces of his memories. You know him, aren't you?"
"Yes. He's my hero," he told her. "He's really an incredible pianist and for someone who lost pieces of his memories, that's horrible."
Kousei opened his eyes a bit and when he finally felt fine, he got up and looked outside to find Aquina. When he finally found her, he looked at Aiza. "Aquina? Who are you talking to?"
Aiza Takeshi stared at him pitifully. He really is an amnesiac. "Can I tell him?"
Princess Aquina grinned. "Yes. You're a part of his past."
He sighed. "Arima Kousei, I'm Takeshi Aiza. I'm an old rival of yours and we've always been playing together in competitions before. You even became my sister's teacher before."
Arima Kousei was truly surprised to hear those words from him. "Me? A teacher?"
Takeshi took his hands on his arms. "I hope that when you see Aiza Nagi, you'll remember her."
Aquina laughed a bit and faced Kousei with a smile. "So, how are you?"
"As I said, I am fine," he assured her. "I can't believe I taught piano to someone before."
...
After a few more hours, the first day of school ended. Saito was able to get close with Tsubaki Sawabe, Kousei was able to remember pieces of his past while Aquina was able to learn the feelings she does have inside of her.
She knows that falling in-love with him was a bit quick for her and so, she shrugged thinking that she truly is in love with him. She's not sure if the feelings inside her actually love, anyway.
The royal car quickly arrived and fetched the two of them. Her butler took her bag and guided the two of them inside. The car left the school immediately and took them back home.
...
When Arima Kousei has finally arrived back home in the mansion, he heard the voice of his father who seemed angry with some certain people inside his office that's near the living room. He tried to sneak in but he was quickly stopped by Yumemiya Daichi. "You can't go in there, young master. Your father's with some important people."
"Important people?" he asked. "Who were the people with him?
Daichi stared at his young master's eyes and he knew that the whole reason that he was hired as his butler was actually to look after him and to be his father's extension when he realized that Kousei looked pale. "You need rest, young master."
Kousei nodded and so, he obeyed his butler and went back to his room and laid down his bed without even changing his own clothes. "Wake me up at nine p.m. I have to do some assignments."
Daichi covered him with his blanket and closed the lamp for him to fall asleep tight.
...
"You haven't yet arrested Satoshi? What would I do if he takes my son away from me again?" screamed Arima Takahiko.
"We are doing our best to arrest him! We already tracked where he is and we came here to inform you about that!" Seto Kissaki replied. "Most especially, your wife returned back and she was the one who told us where we could find him. We are about to arrest him any time now.'
"My wife?" after a while, he went out of the room and found his wife staring back at him. To her surprise, Takahiko hugged him as if he was a kid.
He stared at her completely and he's so happy. Saki is definitely well and healthy. "I'm glad that you're finally home!"
"Where's Kousei?" Saki asked him. "I want to see him. He's not angry with the lie that I made, right?"
"Kousei? I haven't seen him, yet. Maybe he's still at school," he told her. "He's excited to see you."
Yumemiya Daichi bowed in respect to his master. "He's back home, sir. He went straight at his room to rest."
"Do you want to see him?" Takahiko asked his wife. "I know that you badly want to see him."
"Of course. I also wanted to say sorry to him for disappearing suddenly," she told him. "I should have left a note. I didn't know that it will affect him so badly and I had hurt him so much when I was so sick."
