Sales is one of the oldest professions known to mankind.
Since the dawn of civilization, man has found himself selling ideas, commodities or services and directly prospering due to it. Hence, selling became a favoured career, especially for those with little to no tertiary education with great financial rewards and personal satisfaction in a highly rewarding sales career.
The Salesmans job in the future economy is one of the most important positions that anyone could have, and yet many salesmen despite the responsibility a salesman has, sell themselves short by default. They do not attribute the appropriate respect to the science and profession which is Selling.
Selling is the exchange of goods and services for a pre-determined cost, but it is also more. Sales is the exchange of energy, and energy must work in balance and in harmony with the laws of nature to preserve order. It is a universal law, woven into the fabric of all creation. The world as we know it has forgotten our laws of old which propagate respect and integrity in reciprocation, bringing dignity and honour to a salesperson or an entrepreneur and his business reputation within his social circles and community at large.
Instead we inhabit a corrupted age where instant gratification and selfish pursuits are the order of the day. Many a time to the detriment of whom we are supposed to be serving. Ultimately we end up serving our own needs and wants and waning are the golden years of integrity and honour, now a stranger to our everyday business and family negotiations. The consequential result is a Salesman who is disconnected from his purpose and subsequently bankrupt of a spiritual mission.
Serving his fellow man was smiled on by generations of old and is now, in modern times simply disrespected and disregarded. It is almost perceived as weakness, yet in serving others it manifests as our life purpose and it really is a superpower and a blessing to connect on a fundamentally spiritual level.
The Law of Service is closely linked to the Law of Attraction and Reciprocity. The Manifesto of the Spiritual Salesman revisits our roots of the earliest art of selling in a time when abundance and success vibrated amongst people, connecting them and completing a circle of accord. After all, we are dependent on one another and are cogs in this grand mechanical community of mankind around the globe, striving for success and fulfillment. Yet, very rarely can we strike the balance between the two.
A consistent understanding of the laws of nature and rules that are right as rain and its application thereof on a practical, everyday level is what defines a Spiritual Salesman as the beacon of light in a world which sorely needs good intention.
The Spiritual Salesman not only champions the deal, but wins the respect and lifelong friendship of his client for repeat business and an infinity of future agreements, filtering through to future generations of kin. Another circle of mutuality is complete and another and another, and in doing so, the Salesman feels spiritually fulfilled. He has completed his mission and fulfilled his life's purpose and the world is well. Balance is maintained and abundance attained, both materially and spiritually.
This is the key.
Reciprocity.
