Chapter 4~ the walk

I really don't know how this chapter is going to turn out.. Im really have no plan haha. Ok so im gunna write now.

"So, Amanda, do you want to go on a walk with us around town?" Luke asked.

"Sure! Let me just go grab a few things and tell my mum and tell my family the plan for later. I'll meet you guys outside."

Amanda's POV

Luke and Jai went outside to wait for me. I ran upstairs and put on some white high waisted jean shorts and a light blue crop top. I then went to my closet and put on my gray vans.

I didn't want to keep them waiting to long so i quickly brushed my teeth and grabbed some money and my phone and told my mum i was going out and i would meet her at the neighbors house at 6:30pm.

I went outside and Luke and Jai were arguing. It wasnt anything serious but I wanted to know why.

"Ok guys im ready to go now!" i said breaking their conversation.

"So where are we going?"

"I thought we could go to the mall and get some lunch or something. Then we can walk to the park." Jai suggested

I could tell he was still a little shy around me but i didnt want to say anything about it.

"Im up for that. how about you Amanda?" Luke asked.

I didnt hear him at first because Jai and I were staring at each other but then i said,

"Hmm? oh yeah great. Lead the way."

Once we got to the mall the boys showed me all the hip places to shop and all the good restaurants. I wasnt that hungry so we just went to the ice cream place instead.

"What do you want Amanda? I'll pay."

Jai asked.

"I'll just have chocolate. Thanks Jai. you're so sweet."

Jai blushed and Luke couldn't help but laugh. I felt bad for Jai so out of the blue i defended Jai saying,

"Luke stop laughing! I've caught you staring too!"

Jai was laughing so hard he was on the ground. Luke blushed and started laughing too. Oh thank god he wasnt mad!

Luke's POV

I couldn't help but laugh at Jai. I know he likes Amanda. It's kinda obvious.

"Luke stop laughing! I've caught you staring too!" Amanda exclaimed.

Of course i was staring. How could someone not? she was so beautiful. I know she caught me a few times but Jai didn't so that was good. I couldn't help but blush at her comment so to cover it i just started laughing. I think she felt bad for Jai because i was teasing him. I'll lay off the teasing for awhile so she doesn't think i'm a bad person.

I wanted her to like me.

Amanda's POV

We ate our delicious ice cream and walked to the park. Luke was in front blabbing away and Jai looked bored. I decided to break the awkwardness.

"So what school do you guys go to?"

"We go to Penola Catholic High School. Do you know where you are going?" Jai answered. I could tell he's a lot more comfortable now.

"My uniform that was in my suitcase said Penola on it so i would assume im going to Penola."

"So how old are you?" Luke asked.

"Im 17. how old are you?" i asked.

( a/n yeah i decided to change the age just cause.)

"We're 17 too!" Luke answered! "

Looks like we'll be together in school." Jai said winking. He was so cute.. I could feel a blush creeping over my cheeks.

We arrived at the park a few minutes later. It was only 4:30pm and the park was right down the street from our neighborhood.

In the middle of the park there was a giant tree. It was so pretty.

Luke got a text from someone named Beau. He told Luke to come home because their mum needed help for a few minutes. I found out Beau was there older brother and he was my brothers age.

Now i got to hang with Jai :)

"So Amanda, do you like it here so far." Jai asked.

"Yes! i loved hanging out with you and Luke today! it feels like home already."

"Thats good. So um.. do you have a boyfriend?"

I was surprised he asked that. I blushed, yet again.

"Oh.. no. no i don't. not at the moment anyways." i answered. I made sure to say it while winking. "Why do you ask?"

"Um no reason." he replied smiling.

It was getting cold and dark. I started to shiver. Jai looked at his phone and it was 6:20pm. I didnt realize the time. Luke has been gone for awhile. I hope everything was okay..

"We should head back for dinner." Jai said giving me his jacket.

"Yeah. We should. Thanks Jai, but aren't you cold?" i asked.

"Just a little, but I dont want you to get sick. Can i see you phone for a sec?"

"Awe Jai! You are the sweetest. Thank you." I said giving him a hug and handing him my phone. He put his and Luke's number into it. I was surprised he out Luke's number in it but i guess he did it so i would have it.

He wrote his contact name as,

Jai Brooks your love<3

I couldnt help but chuckle.

I checked to see what he put Luke as and he wrote,

Luke Brooks (the annoying twin)

We both started laughing.

"I had a great time with you today Amanda. Maybe we can hang out tomorrow or something?" Jai said sheepishly.

"I would love to Jai!" i exclaimed.

We were halfway back to their house when i have Jai his jacket back.

"Now you need it. You need it more than me right now." I handed him his jacket back.

He smiled and put it back on. "Thanks"

We met up with Luke. He was coming to get us. He saw that i was cold and offered his jacket.

"Thanks but no thanks Luke. I just gave Jai's jacket back to him."

Oh.. ok well the offer is still on the table." Luke said. He sounded a little sad. I felt bad.

We got to the boys house and Beau answered the door...
