Jai's POV

"good but who are you?" she replied with confusion in her eyes..

I was dreading this moment.

My heart sank

Amanda's POV

the doctor walked in and asked how i was.

"ok, I'm just going to ask you a few questions" I nodded and he continued. "what is today's date?"

"oh that's easy, it's November 5. today's the day we move to Australia." I responded.

he asked me a few more questions but I don't know why.

"um doctor? why am I here?" I asked as the boy sat on the chair next to my bed.

"well Amanda, you hit your head really hard about 4 days ago and you were in a coma. you also have slight memory loss, but don't worry it will be back in a couple weeks. oh and today is December 16. I'm sorry. I will leave you and Jai alone." oh so his name is Jai, cute. I can't believe this  happened...

"Jai can I speak with you for a second?" he continued and walked out of the room with Jai, I wonder why they're talking about?

Jai's POV

I followed Dr Brown out if the room and into the hallway. I was trying so hard not to cry. I wanted her back and I am going to do  anything I can to get her back to normal.

"what is it doc?" I asked Sitting  down on a chair in the waiting room.

"you can't tell her that you are her boyfriend.." he replied.

"WHAT? Why???" I said standing up.

"it would be to much pressure to love someone that she 'doesn't know' you can tell her once her memory comes back."

"ok well is there anyway we can get her memory back quicker?"

"well if you treat her like you normally treat her then the memories  should come back easier."

"thank you Dr Brown. when can she come home?"

"tonight around 6. call me if there are any problems."

I walked back into Amanda's room and sat next to her bed.

"hey are you ok? we're you crying??" I asked her. her eyes were all red and puffy. this is going to be extremely hard.

"yeah I'm ok. I'm sorry, Jai. I'm trying my best to remember but I just can't." she said trying not to cry.

"it's ok Amanda.. we are all going to help you through this" I said giving  her a hug.

"who's everyone? and who are you to me?" she asked . oh geez I don't know how to do this..

"well you are my neighbor. and I have two brothers. Luke is my twin and Beau is the oldest, and you are really close with my mum, Gina. James and Daniel, who we also call skip, are our best friends and they're always over my house and so are you. you haven't started school yet so we are your only friends at the moment. and me, well I'm special, I'm your boy- um boy best friend, yeah.." shit.

"well thank you Jai. do you know what caused me to be here? sorry for all the questions." I could tell she was frustrated.

"no questions are good, don't worry. and sorry I don't, no one really knows. you were outside laying on the grass with Luke then I came out to get you and I thought you were mad and wouldn't talk to me until I realized you were unconscious... do you want to get dressed? I can take you home whenever you want."  I said getting up and walking to the door.
