Chapter 3~ meeting the neighbors(

Recap

Just when my favorite scene started, the scene where Dory finds Squishy, there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it!" I yelled walking towards the door. I opened the door and my only thought was,

"This day just got one hundred times better!"

Amanda's POV

It was about 6:00pm and i heard a knock at the door.

Before i opened the door i thought it must be the moving company with our furniture and the rest of our belongings.

I opened the door and i was sure these people had the wrong house. There were two boys. They looked around my age and i think they were twins because they looked exactly the same, but they were extremely attractive.

One of the boys was wearing a beanie and was leaning against the door post like in all the romantic movies. His head was down and he had something behind his back, but i couldn't see what it was.

The other boy was shaking his head and laughing at his brother. He was holding some sort of container filled with what i thought was lasagna.

I was getting curious why they were here.

"Can i help you?" I asked.

The boy with the beanie stepped over and held out a bouquet of pink and purple flowers. Now i was sure they had the wrong house.

He just stood there, staring at me. He had a dazed look in his eyes. I couldn't help but blush.

"Jai stop staring!" the other boy exclaimed breaking his brother from his stare. He continued, "Hey, my name is Luke, and as you can see this is my twin brother Jai."

"We're your neighbors." Luke said as he pointed next door.

"Hi.. These are for you." Jai said handing me the flowers. He seemed nervous.

"Thank you very much. Come in, make yourself comfortable."

They walked in and just stood there.

"Is there a problem?" i asked.

"There's no furniture." Luke exclaimed.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Well come into the kitchen. There are some chairs in there."

They followed me into the kitchen and i put the lasagna into the fridge and brought out some fruit.

My mum then walked in. Jai was still staring at me. I again couldn't help but blush.

"Who's this!?" my mum asked.

"Mum, this is Luke and this is Jai." I said pointing to them. "They are our neighbors."

"Um, our mum, Gina, wanted to invite you and your family to dinner tonight. If you don't mind.." Jai said. He seemed a little more relaxed now.

"We'd be glad to attend dinner!" My mum answered.

"We never caught your name." Like said to me.

"Oh i totally forgot" i said, a little bit embarrassed. " My name is Amanda!"

"That's a pretty name..." Jai said. He immediately put his hand over his mouth and apologized. I don't think he meant to say that out loud.

"Awe, Jai! that's ok. Thanks!"

"Ooohh Jai's got a crushhh!" Luke teased. Jai told Luke to shut up. it was kinda cute!

"So, Amanda, do you want to go on a walk with us around town?" Luke asked.

"Sure! Let me just go grab a few things and tell my mum and tell my family the plan for later. I'll meet you guys outside."

Jai's POV

Today was the day our new neighbors moved in. I was kinda hoping they would be my age and it was a girl..

"Yo. Luke! Jai! The new neighbors are here! I think you'll like these ones." Beau, our older brother said creepily.

I looked out my window to see if i could find anyone. All i saw was a boy about Beau's age getting some boxes from their car. Disappointment soon creeped on my face.

"Luke! Jai! come in the kitchen!" My mum yelled. "I want you to take these flowers and lasagna next door and invite them to dinner tonight. oh and behave you too. Dinner will be ready around 6:30pm."

Luke and i soon arrived at the house. I knocked on the door and leaned on the side of the house. I heard a girls voice from inside and it didn't sound like a mum.

The most beautiful girl answered the door. She looked about my age so i got excited.

She started talking but i didn't hear her. I was too busy staring at the perfection standing in front of me. I snapped out of my daze when Luke has to yell,

"Jai! Stop staring!"

I was embarrassed. I told Luke to shut up and she blushed. It was cute.

"Hey, my name is Luke, and as you can see this is my twin brother Jai."

"We're your neighbors." Luke said as he pointed next door.

I handed her the flowers nervously. I hope she didnt notice.

She thanked me and then she asked us to come inside, i gladly followed. We just stood there.

"Is there a problem?" she asked.

"Theres no furniture." i replied awkwardly.

She asked to follow us to the kitchen because there were chairs in there. She took the lasagna and brought out some fruit. I was still staring and i didnt even notice her mum walk in.

"Who's this!?" Her mum asked.

"Mum, this is Luke and this is Jai." She said pointing to is. "They are our neighbors."

"Um, our mum, Gina, wanted to invite you and your family to dinner tonight. If you don't mind.." I said sheepishly. I wonder if she thinks im weird??

"We'd be glad to attend dinner!" Her mum answered.

"We never caught your name." Luke said.

"Oh i totally forgot" she said, she blushed because i could tell she was a little bit embarrassed. " My name is Amanda!"

"That's a pretty name..." I said. I immediately put my hand over my mouth and apologized. I didn't mean to say that out loud. Oh god whyy!

"Awe, Jai! that's ok. Thanks!"

"Ooohh Jai's got a crushhh!" Luke teased me. I told Luke to shut up again.

"So, Amanda, do you want to go on a walk with us around town?" Luke asked.

This was going to be a good day.

Ok yeah that was a really long chapter. I was going to do Luke's POV but it would have been even longer and im tired so ill do his in the next chapter.
