Chapter 12~ I'm so sorry..

Ok so for some reason the last half of chapter 11 didn't publish... which sucks because that's like the best part. sorry I didn't  notice it earlier.. so I'll just finish it here.

Amanda's POV

My mum made lasagna which is skips favorite. it feels like I've known them forever, but in reality it's been 3 hours..

My mum was sitting at the end of the table and my dad was at the other end. Jai, me, Luke, and Beau were on my mum's left and Gina, James, Daniel, and Adam were on the right.

The lasagna was amazing. all of a sudden Jai stood up and starting clinking his knife against his glass indication  he had something to say. oh shit. not now. I motioned Jai to sit down but he just smiled and mouthed ' its ok'.

no it's not Jai.. if I was ok I wouldn't be telling you to sit down. geez have some common sense, child.

Damn, my mind can be a bitch..

anyways, I kept tugging Jai's shirt but he ignored me and told me everything would be ok. I had a feeling it wouldn't. we all quieted down and Jai began to speak-

"um so I have some exciting news, everyone!" Jai started.

I was sweating. My hands were clammy and disgusting.. I HATE that.. I had my hand on Luke's thigh and I was shaking so much.

"I'm so sorry Luke..." I whispered to him he looked extremely confused. I feel so bad. What have I done..

I'm really excited about this chapter, I love intense scenes and I've been waiting so long to write this!

oh, and sorry for not updating.. last week was so stressful and I would've updated yesterday but I went to a party. I've been extremely busy.

Chapter 12~ I'm so sorry..

Luke's POV

"I'm so sorry Luke..." Amanda whispered to me. I'm so confused. what did she do?

She didn't take her eyes off me the whole time Jai was talking. I wonder what he's bragging about now?

then I heard those five words I never wanted to hear come out of anyone's mouth, except mine.

"Amanda and I are dating." Jai said pulling Amanda up and kissing her on the cheek.

I was mad. ell, I was furious. I tried keeping it in but I couldn't. I got up and ran out of the house and ran to the park.

I felt like Zac Effron in the 'Bet on it' scene in High School Musical 2.

I heard someone calling my name but I just ignored whoever it was.

I ran and ran to the park and sat on the swings and tried to calm down when a dark shadow appeared beside me. please don't be who I think it is, please.

I just kept swinging and pretended I didn't notice anyone. it was extremely hard though. whoever it was, was crying. I turned around because I knew it wasn't one of the boys.

"Luke, I'm so sorry. I thought you would've been ok because you said you wouldn't get in the midd-" I cut her off.

"I know what I said, Amanda. I'm sorry for over reacting. I never should have told you how I felt about you. I'm really happy for you guys." I lied. I wasn't  happy about it. I wanted her. I'll just have to put on a show, for Amanda's sake. I can't hurt her.
