Daniels POV

We ended up staying at Amanda's and watching Nemo because it's her favorite movie.

It was like 4 o'clock when we started to fall asleep.

I went up to the bathroom to pee before bed.

what the hell is this?

Daniels POV

I ripped the blade from Amanda's grasp. She looked at me with anger in her red puffy eyes. She had tears streaming down her face. She was sitting on the bathroom floor with three new cuts on her right arm. I knelt down so I was crouched in front of her. I lifted her head up with my index finger so I could see her beautiful brown eyes. Sadness soon overcame her eyes and they became cloudy from the tears.

"Why? why would you do this Amanda? You promised.." I said tearing up. I don't understand why she would do this. I thought she was happy..

"Dani-el" She choked, "I'm s-sorry!"

"You didn't answer my question. why?" I said getting up and grabbing a towel for Amanda to put over her fresh cuts. I placed the towel over them and applied pressure, she winced from the pain. I muttered 'sorry' before she began speaking.

"I'm so sorry Daniel. That comment just got to me and I came in here because I didn't know what to do! then I saw the blade and i don't know.. I'm so sorry! please don't tell Jai! Please! " She cried.

I just nodded and placed the blade against my wrist.

"DANI-EL WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" she screamed.

"You love me right?" I said starring at the cold blade against my skin.

"Of course, but Daniel what are you doing??" she exclaimed.

"Every time you cut, I'm going to cut, so you know what it feels like to see someone you love harm themselves." I said starring into her eyes.

"Daniel stop. you don't have to do this! you have no reason to!" she screamed throwing the blade across the room.

"Exactly. neither do you. if you ever feel the need to cut just call me or one if the boys and we'll help you through it ok?" I said just holding her. We just sat there until I heard her whisper 'thank you.'

"No problem. that's what friends are for right, to help each other? but I think you need to tell Jai." I said lifting her head off my chest and using my index finger to lift her chin up so I could look into her beautiful brown eyes.

"Ok I'll tell him in the morning. Can you be with me?" She asked. the tears started to clear from her eyes.

"Sure. Let's get to bed. it's 5am." I said as I flushed the blade down the toilet. I walked her to her room and as I was walking out she called to me.

"Skip stay with me." she said half asleep.

"Ok I'll sleep on the bean bags then." I said plopping down on the pink one, and the yellow one next to her bed. She threw a blanket at me and a pillow. I was extremely tired so once my head hit the pillow I was out.

Jai's POV

11:45am

I woke up feeling empty, like I was missing something, or someone. she was next to me when I fell asleep... where did she go?
